I'm wondering how much staining were talking about here. I mean you should never see under his robe anyway or his head without the hood up. So what stains if any would even be visible?

Love how this thread is full of, presumably grown men, asking how to wash something and the royal guard thread is full of people explaining how to iron something. If you can’t use a washing machine or iron how have you raised the money to buy these things in the first place [emoji23]

This. Should not be left to the customer to sort overzealous dye use.
That said hand washing this stuff is like carefully hand washing items made of knitted wool, I guess I dont see the challenge since I'm Scandinavian and done it with woolen socks for years

Based on what I've seen so far, it seems that the Emperor looks best when viewed from below. In the overhead shots, his eyebrows seem too thick and he gets more of that Ed Harris vibe again. Guess I'll have to display him on the top shelf (not that I wasn't planning that already anyway...). 
Top shelf was always my plan as well -- never thought I could squeeze him onto a shelf with a guard and eventually Vader with Luke.
Yeah, I was hoping for the saber duel in front of the throne.....
I am pretty sure this is not going to work, especially since I have the SSC v2 Vader.....

I haven't had a problem yet with staining, but from what it sounds like, people say that the stains can't be wiped off, like the figure skin is absorbing the dye from the robes. So I'd be worried about it spreading away from just the contact area. So basically who the **** knows lol, I'm washing the thing.
