There is always the chance that Hot Toys won’t release another Iron Man for Infiinity War part two, just another accessory pack. Unless there is a Mark 51.

I still think this is a better chance than most think. I think many are mistaking retail price and hot toys profit margins. Just because Iron Man figures cost a lot DOESNT mean that’s big money for them. It’s big money because of loyal Iron Man customers and repaints which they know many dislike too. There’s a chance they do this AND come out with a rerelease of this Iron Man but with a separate accessories pack. I think 243 for that accessory pack is crazy too but I think there’s a good chance they make great revenue from them AND with another pack for that same price, they won’t be pricing out their customers. Sort of a win-win if the margins are what I’m thinking.

We can dream right? Just some ideas of “maybes”

If he's there, he'll be made. Doesn't matter if it's a repaired Mark 50, a flashback or time travel event to Mark 7, or a brand new Mark 51.. We almost even got a Mark 7 from Iron Man 3 (of sorts)

For what this accessory pack costs, they should've just made it a full MMS release and included a Tony Stark figure like MMS273.

Wouldn't have been that difficult to do. They already have the TrueType with chest LED. Reuse a portrait, some new clothes, sunglasses, and add a flip phone.

At least then you would be getting an actual figure for the price of a figure. The optics would certainly be a bit better.

That’s the best “ask” or critique of this set so far. It’s at least a plausible fix anyway.

I still maintain that if we see another suit in A4, it’ll be the 48/49 (whichever one the hulkbuster ends up NOT being). I think they want to end it at 50, especially with the “L” Roman numeral and the fact that they’ve described the suit as the full extent of what Tony’s brain can create.

From the movie commentary:
"The journey that Tony's been on as a genius scientist is that the evolution of his armor. This is the best it's ever gonna get for Tony and it's nanotech," Joe Russo said. "He goes to the cutting edge of what his mind can deliver, and it still is not enough to beat Thanos. In fact, it barely keeps him in the fight."

Also, concept art from A4 points to the same look as IW. Now, it is a nano suit, so either he will create more weapons from his suit (another accessory pack) or he can change the complete look of his armor which we have not seen yet.

Like anything else, just have to wait and see.

This armor literally forms into whatever he wants, I have no idea how it can get better other than the nanotech being infused with vibranium or uru metal or something.

One really cool thing I noticed though is that the nano's appear to be finite. Maybe everyone has noticed this already and I'm late, but during the final moments of Stark vs Thanos you can see him re-distributing his armor from various parts of his body to create different weapons. It's most obvious when he's essentially half IM half Stark and you can see areas that were armored becoming exposed.

I think it's a really cool aspect of the tech. The armor is OP as hell, so it's nice to see that as great as it is, there is a limit to how much he can create (even if the reserve is obviously enormous). If anything, that little detail helps make this armor seem more believable, as ridiculous as that sounds :lol

Maybe there can still be upgrades? More nanomachine capacity? I'd like to see the MK50 perform like the Model 51 from the comics where it can transform to a hulkbuster when needed or like a ninja IM suit. Or maybe get a proton cannon just like from the arcade games. 😁

WOW... almost a whole page without any complaining :lol

The bleeding edge armor in the comics had the nano-tech inside of Tony's body instead of a housing unit, so there is a potential "upgrade"... Or he can find a way for nano-machines to replicate themselves so he doesn't run out like he did against Thanos. The armor's design may not be updated, but i'm sure the nano-tech could be improved upon over time.

The nano-machines would come from somewhere, so there's gotta be a finite amount.

Maybe the trade off would be that the nano tech could create more bots, but it has to use Tony's body as the raw materials. So in theory there could be more, but it would slowly kill him.

Time for Tony to get more housing units. I think the point is that they all have to work together to beat Thanos. We seen what being apart did to them.

I'm assuming the long blade was attached incorrectly on the promo pics. The blade should be on the outer side as opposed to the inner side just like how HT showed it.

Finally someone mentions this. I thought it looked weird when i saw HT's pics. It would be more natural for the blade to face outwards.

I did mention that earlier but everyone, myself included, were more concerned of the price of the pack. They better get it right though for what they're charging.

What are the chances of the headsculpt being included will be made movie accurate? IE highlights in hair. I know its a nitpick but don't want to end up repainting it.
