I wonder (no pun intended) why we haven't seen any unboxing videos yet with the SSC early release email...they seem to ship 5-6 weeks after Hot Toys posts final product photos, so for this to arrive by the end of August, we'd really need to see some photos by mid-July.

Can't be unboxing videos for something that hasn't been released. I wonder if Sideshow got things mixed up.

I asked KH Hobby, a HK retailer, and they knew nothing about this early release. The training armour version will surely come out first.

Just out of mere curiosity in seeing what everyone’s plan is, is anyone getting this in addition to the BvS WW? And if so, if the sculpt on this figure turns out to be better than the BvS one (which I’m guessing it will being that it’ll probably be the TA sculpt with rooted hair), are you going to buy an extra one of these sculpts and put it on the BvS figure, or just leave the BvS figure as is?

Keeping the BvS version as is and picking up the JL WW.(or two lol)

Keeping BvS WW as is with BvS Supes and Bats. JL versions will go on a completely different shelf, so, you know, each shelf needs its own WW, Batman, and Superman. Because I'm insane.

:lol There is little room for sanity in this hobby.

Nobody sane would buy toys for $200+. So that's ok. You are normal here :lol

I’m doing the same as many here and keeping the BvS Trinity intact. I’m picking up this figure to serve as a solo WW representation with TA WW.

That way, I’ll have adequate representations of my three DCEU films: MoS, BvS and WW.

I am keeping my BvS as is (I personally like that she has different facial expressions between the figures), getting the TA one, as well as the JL one. As sj2106 said above, there's very little room for sanity in this hobby indeed.

I skipped the BvS version and am getting just the JL version. I knew the JL head sculpt would be better, but I was actually tempted to pick up the BvS head to swap since it looks a bit more like how Gal looked in WW. I'm less inclined to do that after seeing Dean Knight's head swap video though. However, if I decide to pick up the TA version too, then I'd do the BvS head swap so that both WW figures have different facial expressions.

Either way, I also intend to have the least conventional Trinity display once I get this in hand.

I missed the BVS version and have the JL version on PO, but I kind of like the BVS version because her hair looks darker and I think it looks better darker.

I honestly think it's the same colour and just the different lighting.

This is precisely what I’m doing as well.

I know in the past, some people (including myself) have said they would get the BvS figure, then just swap sculpts if the JL sculpt turns out to be better (which I’m guessing it will). I like my BvS Trinity display, so the BvS figure is going nowhere. So I got TA WW and JL WW to serve as a WW film display. I believe the JL figure will simply use the TA sculpt with rooted hair, which means the TA WW and this figure will basically have the same sculpt. I don’t really like the notion of having three figures all having the exact same sculpt if you were to swap out the BvS sculpt for another JL sculpt, even if it’s a better portrait.

After I saw the promo shots of the JL WW I immediately sold my BvS WW. Because the more I looked at the old sculpt the less I think the likeness was there.

I’m keeping my BVS but would like to see what the JL Head looks like on the BVS body. It may be the case, as previous releases of other figures have revealed, that the skin tone on the face of the JL version may not match the BVS body.

If it matches closely enough I may pick up the head but I don’t see a need to get another WW. Perhaps the stand since it looks like it may take up less room in a detolf.

I'm in a similar dilemma with Batman. Tracked down the BvS version as I love this version, after pre-ordering the JL Bats. May need to sell on the JL version if it isn't superior. Or keep the headsculpt I guess ??

Or maybe keep the figure and display it with the unmasked sculpt? That's my plan right now.
