Also the Darkseid vs JLA diorama is still happening. These photos are from XM at Denver Comic Con of their 1/6 concepts.

Can't wait to see the full prototypes for all of these. Seriously impressive!

Do we know the price of these at all yet? Being in the UK it's going to cost more anyway

License is global for these, should be reasonable I guess

Liking the looks of batman from this line however...it kinda looks like he’s riding a bat-boat.

These look fantastic. Depending on price point and availability I may buy. Would still prefer them in 1/4 with a US license, but 1/6 with global distribution would probably be less than half the price. It would be interesting to see them work out a similar deal for their Marvel license.

Would only really be interested in Aquaman, as there isn't a lot of choice for cool statues of him, especially at this scale. There are a load of different wonder woman pieces (not complaining) but may have to pick up aquaman as he looks very cool

Re: XM Studios - DC Comic License for 1/4 scale

So the Joker just went up with a price of 500 euros (excluding shipping)... that's about $570, which I really don't get. Sideshow's upcoming Joker in 1/4 scale and wicked design is only about $30 more. I was really hoping to get the Superman and Batman from XM, but if this is the price point they're sticking to, maybe not...

I'm new to XM, I've been mostly collecting Sideshow and Prime 1. If the Superman and Bats end up going for $500-600 each, can someone weigh in if they think it's worth it?

It's not up on XM website so I'm not sure what the actual price will be yet.. What stores did it go up for sale in? could be some stores jumping the gun to try and rip off earlier buyers... :dunno

Re: XM Studios - DC Comic License for 1/4 scale

That doesn’t sound right. loricstone was thinking $399, and he seems to be the go to guy on what XM is up to.

Clearly you don't know about European distributors' insane markups, especially when it comes to certain statue manufacturers. :lol
