I thought so too! I guess this gives me time to move stuff around before he gets here. Also, a little easier on the wallet since I can now plan ahead.

sweet, ordering a second! Free shipping too! I was about to buy one at Disneyland. He's my favorite character and i love this PF. I have the exclusive and now will have regular as a back up.

The ex is not for sale again is it?????? I need one!

No lol! Ex never come back once they sold out. I got one cuz my buddy didn't want it so sold it to me. Then the damn ex lightsaber light broke, such a bummer that is why I hate light ups very fragile!

Decided to order this, always wanted it and love the museum pose.

I just ordered the most expensive collectible I've ever bought, the coolprops 1:1 Giger Alien head. I had to prioritise my interests and cancel my pre-order for this in order to do so. Sideshow kindly let me transfer my deposit from Maul so that I didn't lose out (spent a lot more over all of course) I still like this a lot and given that this is up for open sale again, I'll try to grab it again down the line once my bank account has recovered.

For no apparent reason the sabers on my Maul have started to fall. On the double saber each blade only lights up about 80% of the way. If left on too long they just go out completely. Worked fine for weeks so not sure what happened. Statue hasn’t even been touched. Anyone know of a way to fix? Anyone know why the failure rate on these is so high?
The exact same thing has happened to mine, have gently cleaned all contacts with dry cloth to no avail.

I have noticed that the light switch button has become a bit sticky of late, ie, when switching off the button doesn't depress cleanly/straight away and as the base is a sealed unit I cannot do any self repair on the switch and I've had Maul for well over a year so I'm pretty much screwed/stuck with a cool Darth Maul statue that doesn't light up the blades 100%[emoji30]

This is my first and now LAST Sideshow Statue. [emoji34]

I had issues with the switch and the saber itself. I emailed Sideshow and they took care of both.

At the risk of sounding impertinent, did you have the statue for more than a year and Sideshow STILL fixed it?

I had one of my saber poles break and they took care of me. I got Maul almost a year ago, and this was not even two months ago.

Okay, thanks for the info [emoji1360]. I live in the UK so it'll be a MAJOR pain in the ass to get it shipped back to the US, I can only hope Sideshow will pick up the tab for shipping etc....
