Any sequels after T2 just ruin that film's ending. 'Judgment Day is inevitable'...so there was no need for Uncle Bob to get melted down then? He could have just stuck around and they could have tried repairing him - if Skynet was going to happen regardless why not keep him around? Nope, he went into the molten steel because he (and James Cameron) believed that doing so would put the final nail in Skynet's coffin. End of the story. That didn't necessarily have to preclude telling the future war story however - a prequel set in the future that would lead in to T1 and T2. It's the only thing that makes sense post-T2. But of course, no, we can't have that.

Or it turns out they were wrong.

A terminator has to be sent back in time and a there has to be a reason to send it back.

Paradox.....

Post credits scene has Arnie going back in time and terminating everyone involved in writing the script for T3, Salvation and Genysis, thus erasing them from the timeline. :rotfl

It's been a while since I watched Genisys but IIRC one of the cooler aspects of that film was that the personified Skynet was actually from a completely separate dimension/universe than the one shared by the main characters in the film. That was something that I thought would be really awesome and different to explore. The idea that Skynet figured out that there are parallel universes and therefore abandoned the one of T1 or T1/T2 in favor of a reality where victory was possible.

I thought they might be opening up the whole possibility of enemies and allies from alternate universes jumping ship to aid/destroy a universe that wasn't even their own. I guess they were content to let Cloverfield Paradox beat them to the punch.

I just hope it's not the finished title and not the actual font.
The font is the same as Genisys, and the background pic is a simple photomanip of the old T2 promo.

Congrats! I saw an unboxing of the arm on Youtube and it's not bad at all. Plus the $175 prop comes with a free blu ray! :monkey3

I missed out on Sideshow’s endo arm and won’t pay aftermarket price for it. I was just hoping for a decent representation of it on my shelf and this fits the bill. Are you going to pick one up?

That's a tough question. I wasn't planning to until I saw the Youtube unboxing so consider me immensely tempted. :lol

That's the grandma of the future, she's tough, organised and she can balance her checkbook!

OK, just to get that out of the way.
