Holy crap. Where are the characters that were shown in the teaser. Luke cage looks like a 40 yr old man that tries to stay hip with the kids and hits on all the fine girls at the family cookout.

Come on give me spiderman or more xmen .

I would like to see SS make a 1/6 version of this Iron Man statue. It can be done. Joints and all. Classic style. There is absolutely no reason for them to make anything like in the movies. HT has those........

That would be my ideal 1:6 Iron Man if Sideshow could recreate the statue as an articulated figure. They could use the slim HT trooper body they use on the Clones.

They did include the morphing T1000 with the Battle Damage T800 that was decked out in chrome and the first thing people bitched about was it scratched easy. Chrome is a difficult material even in metal.

That's 100% insulting to those who collect Gangster Kingdom figures.
DamToys produce high end figures, they're better than HT.
Sideshow produces outdated looking toys of mediocre quality.

A nice addition to their marvel line.

Fits right in for sure.

I really don't get Sideshow. With Hot Toys producing movie-style figures you would think Sideshow would leap at the chance to produce comic book-style figures. In the case of Luke Cage, they could have given us his comic book look--either modern or retro--or they could have given us the live action version from Netflix. Either one would have been in demand from some element of the fanbase. But instead Sideshow gives us their "artistic interpretation" which looks like neither option, and is sure to disappoint almost everyone. Whoever Sideshow's artistic director is, they don't know what their customers want, that's for sure.

If I had to venture a guess I would say probably the same body as the recent Thor figure which is a shame. To me Thor is way too thin.

Yeah in order for this to work for me he'd have to be seriously jacked, a thin body can be iffy but passable with characters like Daredevil but Luke Cage is known for his muscles and bullet proof skin....and saying "Sweet Christmas "

Nope it’s not April 1st. Weird choice of character given what hasn’t been done, the pricing is insane. By the time we get Doom or Spider-Man they’ll be $300+ figures. I guess with Daredevil out there and I’m sure Iron Fist isn’t far behind they’re going for a Defenders thing (could Jessica Jones be the first female figure out of this line?) but it just feels like “wasted pics” for a line that hasn’t really hit its stride
