Anyone know whether the shin armour on the figure's right leg is detachable?

Hey guys! Gladiator Thor has just come in! Thanks for all your support on my other videos, I’m just getting started so if you like what you see and want to see reviews as soon as figures come out then feel free to subscribe 😊

Excellent video. If I was on the fence before, I certainly wouldn't be now. Great looking figure.

I ordered. This will be my sixth Thor, unless I have to cancel for Jedi Luke or Yondu if I don't have the funds for all. Great looking figure.

Really?

Would have been awesome to have them release on the same day, but that rarely happens.

Yeah it would be cool. They do try to space linked or likely coupled things out a bit. They don’t have flex or anything like that at Secret base or the other Asian stores so it would be a large purchase all at once for some people. Plus that would be a lot of stock sitting around waiting for the other stuff to be finished. Would have to have all the hulk and Thor figures done at once. So I can see why it doesn’t happen much.

But I do think hulk will be released pretty soon.

You shouldn’t be disappointed picking it up. Appears to be a great figure.

Yeah, that makes sense… hopefully he will be out in the next month or so.

Can confirm it’s not removable. It’s pegged in at the front of the shin and glued down.

boo
thanks for the info
I guess i'll try to find the roadworn thor parted out as well as the actual figure.

still on the fence with this figure. looks ok in some pics, terrible in others. but I really am looking forward to gladiator hulk. I hope it turns out well. just wish we could have gotten a plain hulk with the better cgi ruffalo likeness from the film

I'm pretty hype for this figure. My hype for this figure is approaching Cleganebowl levels. Yes some pictures have been less than good but the pics taken by people who obviously know how to take a picture look stellar and that for me is the best representation of how this figure will look in my display. Cant wait to get that email from Sideshow.

Yeah, I don’t see this one bucking the trend of high aftermarket costs. At sideshow Waitlisted already?? Both versions?? Wow.

Hot toys has to have pumped the breaks on run sizes for these recent releases.

I think that's pretty much a given recently… too much inventory laying around after a while on a lot of releases
had them re-evaluate their run sizes. These signs of faster wait-lists and sell outs show them they may have
hit their sweet spot when it comes to figure quantities.

And yeah, it drives the aftermarket prices up… but better that for them than warehouses full of figures
that they cannot move.

But from a collector standpoint, it is a good thing… when you pick up these figures at $250-$300 a pop,
you want them to maintain or increase in value, should you need to sell them for whatever reason.

Yeah, I agree, just makes me rethink what I want to pick up at release.
