So nobody has any complaints about her having a PVC head and hands???

It's pretty much standard now with SS... I think a lot of collectors would of preferred if they stayed with polystone as Iron Studios has proven several times now that you can get great likeness with the material.

After the backlash SS got with Man of Steel PVC statue, I think SS is going to take it more slowly by just doing head sculpts and hands with PVC for the time being but I have a feeling SS statues will eventually be 100% PVC as it's a cheaper material even though SS will try to convince you otherwise....

I'm really not sure it will. I think the very clear Wolf LSB outrage hit Sideshow like a tonne of bricks when they probably didn't expect it. And Swamp thing has received a very small ES. They have tried to shove PVC down our throats, and it hit them in the only place it will hurt enough for them to stop doing it.... Profit numbers. Hopefully we've seen the back of all PVC statues.

Same here, pre ordered right away. I think she looks gorgeous so far, and the exclusive adds to that. Based on the proto pics I prefer this to the old version which I once owned and always liked.

I recall the backlash with the Man of Steel PF and that's why I asked a question. PVC is definitely a cheaper material and depending on the grade of the material WILL breakdown over time. If they ever go to 100% PVC they better cut their prices by 50%.

I was just about to pre-order until I read polystone/PVC. Before I order I would like to know what the PVC parts will be. I guess the gun and the plans disc she's holding for sure. Nevertheless. It's a great sculpt of Carrie Fisher, so I am really impressed with that.

Ok, thanks. Then it's not too bad then if it's only those 2 parts. At least we know with PVC, the head won't crack or chip if it falls off the body. I think from the whole bunch minus the driods, Leia is the only 1 that has the best likeness.
