I'm very impressed by the jumping Raptor figures, I thought the neck was a swivel, not a ball joint, fun articulation to have. The stock paint looks good on the one above, but I plan a full repaint so that's why I didn't mind the green one that comes in the 5 pack.

Luckily I'm not after Muldoon or Ellie because at the current rate, they'll be sold off around me before Target ever stocks their shelves.

I think there's an individual green Dilophosaurus coming in a future wave along with the JP3 Raptor.

There is, but it's a squirting one, it looks pretty good an I may get that one too, but it's a different figure from the one they're packing everywhere right now, and of the 3 out now, the 5 pack with Grant is most accurate.

Had a chance to open my EC Rex and the 5 pack earlier, love these figures, no time right now but probably going to have some photo fun on Thursday, loving these, the tail and neck posability on Rex is so awesome, I don't care how the paint looks, I bought him for fun factor, Colossal is for collector purpose.

First day haul.really happy with this new line.

My EC Rex had a broken left arm. Went to one of the nearby Targets for an exchange and the only options were either scraped up on the nose or had excess tooth paint on the lips. Thankfully it seems to be a pretty common figure, three to a case perhaps.

EC Rex comes in a case of two, unless the box they gave me is one within a case, but the box was exactly two.

I got two good ones thankfully, one painted a little sloppier, my son gets that one, it’s for his 4th birthday so he won’t even notice lol

I’m really blown away, when the very early magazine ad images hit the net, it seemed like only the big Rex had a high level of attention to accuracy, but when you see these from a better view, you see it extends to the whole line.

Ah, curious that my Targets had three in stock each. Maybe both had another that was claimed earlier in the day...

Some items seem packed in low numbers, when I ordered my Rex figure and 5 pack, it said 3 of each available at my store and 2 of the 5 pack at another store, and these are Targets that hadn’t even put out stock yet. I’ll probably go back Wednesday to see if mercy is finally on shelves, wasn’t even a space for it yet at Walmart or Target.

Granted I don’t usually monitor street dates but I noticed all the Infinity War and Solo merchandise went up right away.

Chomping Rex opens his mouth with a button on the back of his head, tail is just posable. I wedged the Dilophosaurus spit in the side of his mouth to keep it open for that shot, but it’s very easy to jam the mouth open and not see what’s used for display purposes.

The one advantage of Colossal over all others is keeping the mouth open without a button or lever.

Ah okay. Now that you mention it, I do recall that in a review I saw. I should get my Rex tomorrow so I'll post a review of it tomorrow night.

Just seems counterproductive to make a dinosaur toy that doesn't have mouth articulation.

Not just that, there's no reason for a figure at that scale not to have the outlining of her blue stripe. The cheap battle damage figure managed it, and that's a fraction of the size.

A retail website leak suggests the upcoming Spinosaurus will have the Extreme Chompin' feature. Not much of a surprise if true, but it bodes well for Legacy collectors hoping for something in scale with their Rex.

I’m waiting on seeing JWFK to make up my mind on Indoraptor, it looks cool and probably used well, but have to see, I thought Indominous was a better main dinosaur than Spinosaurus, but still not as cool as Rex.

I felt the opposite way, Indoraptor was a must-buy for me from the day it was revealed. :lol

I was lucky enough to get the only one my nearest Target had in stock via store pickup and it's a tremendously fun figure, impressive size too.

Not sure how familiar you guys are with Hasbro’s Titan figures for Star Wars and Marvel, but they’re basically 70s Kenner quality figures at 12” scale offering large figures for really cheap prices, relative to other 12” figures. These Raptors, and I believe humans as well, look like Mattel taking a stab at the same market. Quality is reduced to offer a 12” figure for nearly the same price as one half the size.

I know everyone here would happily pay more for proportional quality increase with size increase, but I don’t think the overall target market would.

Damn, guess I’ll cross my fingers for Walmart to come through, my Blue is in transit to my store, which means he wasn’t already in stock, my Colossal still says processing, I’ll just be glad to see it on its way, no matter how long it takes after that. I passed on Amazon because I already had it ordered but now I’m nervous to get a we can’t fill your order message.

I'm sure you will get it...or stumble across another one at a retail store..but boy demand is crazy for it.
