I still reckon it's the stones that have made him bigger. They'll surely have to address it in the movie. That much size difference for no apparent reason needs to be explained.

This looks great! Reposting these to keep them on current pages. It would be appreciated if MegaPrime33 or a Mod could add these to the first post.

Edit: I thought quoting tys' post would make the images visible, not sure what is going on there.

Guess I’m in the minority here, I love his new look. The fact that he does not think Earth is even worth armor at this point shows his arrogance and ignorance. I love it.

Not at all !

I'm of the same thinking as you with the arrogant and ignorant non armoured Thanos.

Sure, it may be just a way to make him look different for this iteration, but I buy it !

I really like this, I'm still not a fan of the costume though. I like that they included a switch out posed left arm though it appears that the Infinity Gauntlet is not removable and instead the alternative left arm has articulated fingers to form a fist and no light up function.

We don’t really see him with anyone in his appearances though. He’s usually by himself or sitting on his throne.

They could’ve just finalized his height and size for IW and it wouldn’t really matter since there’s nothing significant to really measure his height against in the movies.

That the Hot Toys GotG Thanos figure is smaller has no bearing on the films. Guessing his height changed behind the scenes, Hot Toys got preliminary stats, or it was produced underscale.

Looks like Hulk articulation ..hmmm , maybe wait for part 2 full armor Thanos :dunno

I don't think I could live with myself if I waited for the armoured version and he didn't come with the gauntlet. But probably best just to watch the movie and make an informed decision at that point.

As much as I'd like the armoured Thanos as the next guy, it will always have a plasticy look. So I guess this non-armoured version does have the advantage of looking more "natural".

You won't see biceps like that on the armoured version either...

What? What plasticity look are you talking about. Amazing what people say to justify their choices. You don't need to justify your bald guy in street clothes preference. The armored Thanos will not look plasticity and will look better than this one.

Don't stress out man. It's just my opinion. This looks plasticy to me because there is a lot of plastic. That's all.

Hmm, not really my thing. Not often I say that when a major Marvel movie comes around.. (hell, I initially even contemplated getting all the Guardians from G2 and Hela)

If this is indeed $375+, it's an easy pass for me unless I end up liking the character that much. I'd rather save my money for the Black Order if HT decide to tackle any of them.

My thoughts exactly. He’s not impressive or menacing at all... whereas pretty much any of the Black Order would nail that.

I'm also hoping Hot Toys will do at least one of the Black Order. If this is supposedly Thanos' movie, surely the bad guys will get some HT love.

I wonder if there will be a second version offered. It seems like he’s got a couple looks in the film. Personally I don’t mind this look but would prefer a more armored design.

Historically, with avengers loki being the exception, villains havent sold well compared to heroes. You can probably still find the 1st thanos for retail or less. 2 versions of this seems unlikely but hot toys can make whatever they want.
