Bossk, Dengar, Fett and IG-88 was the “A” tier bounty hunters for me as a kid playing with his action figures in the 80’s. I love the look of all four. Never cared for that insects. To me those two were people you didn’t’ want to hang out with but where part of the group through association with another friend.

Anyways looking forward to when HT tackles these bad boys…….I can’t wait

HT is more into big sellers. Don’t think we’ll get many background characters from them. But maybe if you can wait like 10 years? [emoji6]

I don't know exactly how the hiring of factory workers goes, but you'd think SS would be able to hire better painters. Especially with the HT level price points. Maybe it costs more for a US based company to produce figures overseas?

Probably, couple that with how many people are going to buy a dengar or zuckuss. They aren't darth Vader popular.

I'm pretty disappointed with this one. Not sure what happened to the head sculpt paint apps, head wraps. Looks totally different. Typical Sideshow.

Hopefully some futzing can get the head wraps to look a little bit more "baggy".

It also looks like Dengar went to the beauty salon and had makeup applied and his eyebrows done. WTF?

Still looks very good but an obvious step backwards in quality. Just compare the backpack alone. And that chest armor piece looks like it shrunk.

For those grabbing this fig, I'd recommend dry brushing a little silver on the backpack in places to lighten it up. The colors were changed a bit too much form proto to production. My custom Dengar backpack isn't quite finished in these WIP pics but its fairly accurate color-wise. Dengar was a VERY tough fig to get looking just right, so I applaud SSC overall.

Yeah, Dengar has a lot of major challenges in getting a fig of him to look just right, more than you'd think just glancing at the character - too fat, too thin, the armor bunching up, his body looking too big for his head, the two different head wraps looking weird, the difficulty in getting gloves to fit over the forearm armor and still have articulation etc. He's as tough as Fett to get right.

There's a few accuracy errors on the SSC fig and the paint could have been a tad better but overall, I really think they did a great job with this. If people want to be picky there's a few simple mods that could bring it up a few notches, but it's a nice figure as-is - to me certainly better than V.1 Bossk or V.1 Fett turned out

Dengar's always going to be displayed in a BH group to some degree and for that, this fig has more than enough wow.
