That's why I'm waiting to have my WW in hand, UPS will deliver later today, before I make a comment either negative or positive.

I'll be interested to hear your take. I was expecting a disaster when I opened her based off the pics we've seen and I just don't think it's as bad as made out to be once it's in hand. Of course it may also vary piece to piece. I'm not pretending it's dead on Gadot because it's far from it, but IMO I can see her in there a little. Should it be better? Absolutely, but is it a complete train wreck? I don't think so. I still say hair that was more like hers instead of the big waves would have helped too.

UPS delivered my WW so I'll post what I think after I get home this evening and open up the goodies.

can you post some pictures of yours, maybe there is variation it would be nice to see that

I opened up the box and the first thing I did was check the portrait. Honestly I was expecting the worst but the portrait isn't as bad as some pictures make it out to be. Could it be better? Absolutely.

IMO the shading on the eyes could have been better.

Unfortunately I noticed a piece of hair had broken off. Funny thing is that I hadn't taken the portrait out of the bag when I noticed the break and the piece wasn't in the bag. That's not cool if that got past Quality Assurance. Anyway I've requested a replacement.

We'll see what happens next.

Other than the broken hair the rest of the statue is very good. I like all the details and weathering on WW's armor, shield and sword.

With the number of returns, at least you won't have to worry about not getting a replacement. Glad you like it overall.

...this statue is not as bad as people believe (in hand).

...hope you get a head replacement. (not you).

It's not perfect (head) ...but I'm very glad I kept my PO for this one.

I think because of the translucent stuff they use for the head ...It's almost impossible to take a nice picture of it.
...at least that is my experience.

Anyway, I'm very happy.

There is a nice custom 1/4 with the 1/2 pose but once again, the eyes are way off and it truly makes her look weird...

I have the custom 1:4. I have to agree that the eyes are a bit off, but it is without any doubt that the likeness to Gal Gadot is there. In person, it's a stunning piece. Great presence.

I would say yes. When I first looked at the portrait I noticed that the resin looked different.
