I feel nothing for the new figures. Haven't received any news on a replacement Connery yet. Such a bad taste in my mouth from this debacle.

Nice pictures, Silverstar.

Jumping back to LALD for a moment, I think BCS did a very nice job on getting this complicated pattern on Solitaire's dress very close.

Them wanting to go with Dalton next is a bigger head scratcher for me.

I'm a Bond fan so I'm one of them but me and 6 other people in the world like Dalton as Bond and three of them don't even like the two films.

:lol

Dalton rarely gets love, but then there's a reason for that. Placing him 3rd in line for release is a dangerous choice, especially after LALD. If you want to go big first (Goldfinger) and then do a lesser movie (LALD) I totally get that, but then for the 3rd spot you do have to go big again. I agree, Goldeneye is one of those "bigger" choices, as would be Dr. No (hopefully they move that one up) or SWLM or FRWL. Dalton should be pushed into the 4th spot. Allows for people who won't go deep into the line to still look forward to every other offering, especially if the goal is to get two movie sets out per year.

The shoulders on Connery are so small and wrong it makes the HS look oversized- it needs fixing. I am still not a fan of the tailoring- still looks cheap to me

Agreed on all accounts!

I think there'll be decent enough interest in Dalton. His movies may not be as popular, but I think most of the people collecting these figures in the first place are ones who would still love to have him in their collection. And BCS already seems pretty strongly committed to this line, given they're going as far as releasing figures of obscure villains and Bond Girls most people probably barely remember.

Anyone try touching up Bonds nose ? I fear I’ll never see a replacement. BCS started with great responsive service then total silence. I’m a fan but am disappointed with lack of communication after the 1/8 email they sent out :(

Yeah, me too! Desperately disappointed!
Asked Gregg and Alan from BCS on Facebook about any news about the replacement heads - no response :-(

I was a very strong supporter of their Bond figures since day one. Even did a video on YouTube to help promote their figures. But even I lose now slowly faith in them. Extremely disappointing! :(

To make one thing clear, I love their Bond figures and would love to pose and take pictures, but with the damaged noses and the lack of communication it doesn't make any fun.

I'm a huge Bond-Fan, but I won't Pre-Order their Live And Let Die figures, after this Goldfinger disaster. :(

Terrible company to deal with in terms of customer service. Sent them many emails about my nose rub, which they know is a problem. Last I heard over a month ago was they will look into it, they don't even respond to my emails now, this is pretty unbelievable. Just tell me I am not getting a new head this is better then not responding. A company that treats it customers like this is doomed to fail.

Yeah they're really bad at CS, always have been. They have no problem posting a new preorder on Facebook but the visitor posts asking for help get ignored. Call your credit card company and do a charge back, don't put up with this.

I am just wondering why would they go radio silence

If the decision is “ Sorry the figures were shipped without
the nose rub “ and we are not replacing

let everyone move on .. very disappointing

intolerable- i would never give a company like this my money ....

If you have the capability, call their offices. All my CS I've had with them proceeded swimmingly once I called. I use Skype with international landline calling credit. It was some $10 to do it but in all the times I have called I still have some wild $7ish bucks left. Never a bad thing to have in your back pocket anyway. IF you flood the phone line it might push an answer out of them sooner than later.

I'm getting a feeling this might be a "receive a discount on your next BCS Bond purchase" situation.

Or, hopefully, there's a white tux Bond in the works and when they do the runs for that they'll add in the replacements to the production cycle.

Keep in mind, Chinese New Year is upon us. It's not acceptable that you guys haven't had an update, but at the same time they may know little more than you on what the replacement time frame from their factory is.
