Yep, awesome Jaws stuff. I didn't know about the lifesized bust.... man, that was a dream come true for me as a 10 year old boy.

I'm still toying with the idea of selling my DX06. I like it a lot, but I'm not crazy about the Pirates films.

They're both awesome and in my opinion, it depends on your personal preference. For example, do you like rooted hair or sculpted hair? The clean flag or weathered flag? Do you like the DX15's base or the wheel of the DX06?

Personally, I prefer the rooted hair of the DX06. However, I missed out on it so I pre-ordered the DX15 without hesitation and bought the DX06's head sculpt with both faces to go with it. That way, I still get the head sculpt I prefer with an upgraded (newer) release.

Missed out on the DX06 as well. Wasn't about to pay some of the inflated prices I had been seeing. I think this base will have more presence but the wheel is pretty classy. I managed to knock this down to one forty with rp when I preordered. Real happy about that so can't wait to get this in.

I'm ready for this to release. So with chinese new year upon us we're probably looking at a march release now right? Even if it were to drop in HK the next couple weeks its still a month before we get it.

I bought this DX15 as soon as it came on PO. It has the potential to be Hot Toys best figure ever imo, although i will happily admit im Pirate biased. Hat and real hair look great, better quality fabrics used, boots look amazing, base is awesome, head sculpts are really good. I like the smirk, he looks like his Dad from some angles, even Jacks Mom got a makeover and looks great with real hair too!

Looks like Jack did kiss his scabies infested bride after all, or at least touch her.

Really looking forward to seeing some customer figures appear and getting my own.

It’s so lost in most pics, I hadn’t noticed the mom head upgrade.

I have a full set of DX06 hands so I won’t have to display the tattooed hands, I’m usually ok with most changes to Jack from film to film but not a fan of the finger tattoos.

Its cool that there 2 DX Jacks to choose from, people can make their own versions! Be intersting to see if those ripples on his finger/nail make production.

The fact that I pre-ordered this figure earlier this week and it will be arriving within the next month or two is actually a nice change to the usual "year of waiting".

I would LOVE to get a Barbossa to display alongside Jack. I would be very happy to have just those two representing POTC for me.

I sold my DX06 when this was announced and wasn't sure if I liked it more or less than the DX06.

I gave in and pre ordered it... I'm very curious to see what they do with this IE box sculpt, eye system as it's not pers anymore.
I'll probably pick up the DX06 again and have 2 Jacks but I'm very excited to see this especially as it's the 1st DX since Mime joker ( which was a huge disappointment )

I've been contemplating which figure I want to buy, this Jack Sparrow, Gladiator Hulk, Return of the Jedi Luke Skywalker, or Doctor Strange. I think I want to get this Jack Sparrow most of all because it's a DX and there are a lot of details. I hope it fits in a detolf with the base.

I think you won't go wrong with getting this figure and I agree with your reasons for getting this figure. I think he'll go well in any shelf with or without companion pieces. I like Doctor Strange too. It's such a nice sculpt.

If I’d never owned DX06, it’d probably be less, but my anticipation of getting this stirs up the negative feelings of having to part with that. I sold him because at the time my ex-wife and I needed the money, given that our marriage ultimately fell apart as ugly as it did, it made me resent her for the things I let go for us to the point I couldn’t enjoy even watching Pirates or listening to the music. My new girlfriend loves the Pirates movies and has reignited all my passion and even added to it, and the pinnacle of it all will be having the ultimate 1/6 Jack figure of my dreams once more.
