My thought align with yours Python.
Better is it to have one outstanding piece, than many mediocre ones.

I made a little comparison of the heads, I thought it might help us figure out where the seam is. Not so however, the shoulders look to be part of the base, and the front of the necks appear to be different suggesting they are attached to the heads. Other than that, it will take somebody with younger eyes.... Or a better calibrated monitor (mines a 144hz gaming set up) I still recon they detach just inside the shoulder blades. Note the slightly better paint on the base of the open mouth heads dome also. Although both are leagues ahead of any production piece we've ever seen, let's hope that is what we get!

you guys can't see the line in the neck there? I can see it without even zooming in :dunno

Yeah,I thought that debate about the seam lines was kinda funny because it is not that hard to see were the two attach together in pictures or videos.

If you mean the line right in the middle, I saw it straight away, but on closer inspection, that was just a vein fortunately. We'll stick with the idea that the join is within the neck and hidden. Fingers crossed anyway as Prime 1 had no issue adding massive join lines in full view on the 1:1 ID4 bust, that was incredibly disappointing and unexpected as they weren't on the prototype!

No seam here...

How is this still a conversation? I swear every time I come to this thread people are still talking about the seam even though it's already been clearly shown.

for real how are you guys still talking about it?

Well... I caved. Placed an order for the deluxe. I just can’t risk this slipping by. Alien 3 is one of my absolute favorites in the series and this seems like a definitive representation of the Dog Alien. Now the wait begins!!!

Add me to your list. Lol!

Ok so I’m shopping around for andisplay case for this beast because I REALLY WANT to be ready for it. I’m thinking of maybe a plexiglass box. Anyone have any suggestions?

Best bet is to get one made if you have any places near by that work with plastic. Be warned, it will be expensive.

Try Custom Creations over on Facebook for your display case needs

With that size and portions, I think looking for a display cabinet is more appropriate than a display case. But that's just me.

I think what he's planning is an acrylic display case on a pedestal, in which case that is definitely the way to go for large pieces such as this, to get that museum effect. Obviously need the space for it though.

Your correct. I’d love to have this piece displayed on its own. Just not sure how to go about it.

With the piece that yields "I'm big and come with my diorama, so I'm good by my own", is that it needs its own table/ display case in order to do well. People who're in XM products I know often buy huge custom gigantic glass cabinet to display their statues altogether.

But if I want to display my most favorite piece by its own, well, it's best to wait for actual item to arrive, measuring it, order custom acrylic case then buy a black-cubic-like-table for it. Otherwise you need to be VERY sure everything mentioned was big enough to just put the item in anyway.
That's what I did to my LSF Wolf Pred though. :hi5:

I just paid off a few of my flex payments to make this easier to manage down the line. I'm thinking ahead to when they release their Big chap to go with this beauty... Let's hope they show something soon and that it's half as nice as their Dog.
