NECA: 1/4 Marvel Figures

It always bugged me that the DD masked sculpt had his ears as though they're part of the mask. Yet the mask has holes for the ears.

It looks like they accidentally painted his ears red.

Doesn't Daredevil sometimes wear a spandex type cap/hood and then places the helmet over that? They may have been going with that type of concept though it is a bit of an odd choice when there's no cap.

I believe there was some miscommunication from BasquiatBoy. Sounds like the effect piece is just a custom 3D printed thing he did. NECA didn't actually include anything.

But even with that effed up mistake, the figure still looks super badass. I'm pretty tempted to bite on this one.. He would go well with the eventual Punisher that they better put out.

Yes they would look great together.

Another thing they could’ve done better with DD is his baton holder.

It looks really bad sticking out at the bottom like that.

They should’ve created a sleaker holder it’s too boxy.

So Homecoming Spider-Men are up for order already? Man I really want to see some reviews - Apparently it can be wall mounted. The double jointed knees look a bit funny though.

Personally I'm REALLY hoping they do a Gladiator Hulk sometime. The last Hulk looked cool but I was disappointed they only gave him a roaring face.

I don't know how well the last Hulk to do a Gladiator Hulk. And to be honest, I think it's hard. The 1/4 Hulk wasn't easy to balance. If they are using the same design with added armor pieces, I am not that interested.

Not really, they used rotocast so that the figure won't be too top heavy for the figure to stand properly. The poor ability to balance was mostly because of the joint designs.

They really have. I find some stuff, like this Doctor Strange, aren't totally spot on but still pretty good. Stuff like their Penguins and Catwoman are the cream of the crop; hope to see more quality like that in the Marvel line.
