Hmm....that actually looks pretty good. I agree, if the hood was brought in and the figure lit from above (which will be most people’s detolfs anyway), he could really look promising.

Its the lighting. Way better lighted buy I still see Ed Harris.. have to work to make my brain see McDiarmid there. Easy pass, unfortunately. Would loved a OT emperor upgrade, looks like Sideshows still stays the best 1/6 representstion facewise.

You know zooming in on this shot I dont think it is any different to before. Still looks too smiley to me. However a second headsculpt would be a real surprise and persuade a lot of fence sitters I think. But still think that's a long shot myself.

Here's a quick collage of some of the pics from this thread. From SDCC through to Tokyo Con. I'm not sure if he's changed much, if at all.

What do you think ? Lighting and camera angle seems to make a huge difference.
