Just search for 1/6 slim body. Usually the knock off bodies tend to be a bit looser than the HT ones but are a good and cheaper substitution. Priced at about $30.00 they are well worth it.

I usually get these.

Are they about the same weight? Some of the knock offs are great, but notice their heavier weight is usually the issue

I just picked up this figure second-hand and was thinking about swapping out the body cause I'm bugged by the inability of bringing his arms closer to his body. Searching the thread I found reference to "Hot Toys TrueType Slim Body 12" Figure TTM22" and "TTM21;" I'm not an experienced customizer...could someone tell me what the difference is between TTM22 and TTM21? Also, the TrueType bodies are quite pricey; can someone point me in the direction of a TrueType substitution? Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Honestly thinking about it. A lot of legit true types on Toy Anxiety for $40-range.....

Thanks JJ, I appreciate the suggestion.

As mentioned, I'm not an experienced customizer and not really up for blowing $40 a pop with hopes a replacement body will fit the Trooper, I see nothing on Toy Anxiety identified as "narrow shoulders" and assume it's an important measurement to consider. I certainly can't tell by looking at a pic if it'll work. Also, the wrist and foot pegs for the SSC Scout Trooper are huge, is that something that needs to be considered?

The wrist pegs included in a truetype (and most knockoffs) switch out easily with the SS ones.

This is one figure I want to get. I'll just wait till next year. If HT doesn't announce their release, then I'm surely going to get this one.

It's a nice figure but SS should have included a better set of relaxed hands, the ones included are bent for placing the figure on a bike.

Someone has to make more hand options for this figure and sell them online.

Here's the Biker scout of my friend that I shot last year. He also has the speeder bike and it looks gorgeous.

Wait a minute... Bikerscout wants to get a Biker Scout? :lol

Hahaha!

Been wanting to collect 1/6th scale but I was holding back because I have too many other collections. Diecast model cars (1:18, 1:43 & 1:64 Lamborghini and Toyota cars) and the expense is getting out of hand so I went on a buying diet. I also have 3.75" and 6" SW figures, vehicles and a few playsets. Many of the 3.75" are from way back (since the early 80s) from my childhood and many are from '97 and up.

I just recently started to venture into the 1/6th scale. HT to be exact. Two of my close friends, pushed me into starting a collection of my own. I always admired their 1/6th scale figures. One who is also a fellow diecast car collector, has almost all the HT figures of Ironman & villains, Superman & Batman. I enjoyed taking pictures of them. The other one is a solid SW collector (buys anything and everything SW) has almost all the 1/6th scale SW you can think of from HT, SS Tamashii, etc. I saw his SS Biker Scout (and Speeder Bike) and was really envy of it. But I'm still contemplating whether to get one or wait for a possible HT release. Like I mentioned, if HT doesn't announce by next year, then I'm surely getting this figure.

The Biker Scout is my favorite SW bad guy. Next is Boba, Stormtrooper, Darth Vader and a few more. I also collect OT only. Although I have a lot of 3.75" figs & vehicles from EP1, but none from EP 2, 3, 7, Rogue One, etc.

Well Bikerscout, you could always have TWO Biker Scouts!!!
Just put the SSC one in the background when the HT version arrives.

That's the one advantage with the various Troopers, if a better version comes along you can still use your original purchase as an army builder.
