Other then a bit of curiosity, I really don't ever plan on removing the hood. I personally hope there's no head sculpt underneath.

Ditto, I would never remove the mask.

Oh you guys are wimps! I wouldn't display it that way (often at least), but I wouldn't with Darth Vader either, but I'd want Vader with a removable helmet.

My feeling is that if there is a head there, it might as well be sculpted.

You guys were right and I was way off as usual..

120$$??? Does this mean SW and LOTR will soon be the same?

I really could care less about the price because I now am used to paying at least $150 for a figure plus I am loaded with trust funds and don't have to worry about $.

I would actually display Darth Vader occasionally without the helmet and mask, it's kind of a cool look. And it would be a bit easier to remove and replace then Snake Eyes' cloth balaclava and visor I'd think.
Doesn't matter either way since I love the way Snake Eyes turned out!

He LOOKS like a HT figure.

WTG Sideshow !!!!!@!!1!!11443q fdsb
The proto does yes, I hope it turns out as good if not better then the Proto. And I do think Sideshow WILL deliver in the end. I was just taken back a bit by sticker shock, I was not expecting that much.

True. BUT I think Snake Eyes will be a the extreme price point for figures in this line. I don't there will be many figure this detailed often.

Even for a G. I. Joe, Snake Eyes is unusually well-armed. Most others have a few token weapons and all, but Snake Eye's character is built around his massive store of weapons and his truck-loads of stuff. I doubt many others will be so tremendously equipped. For example, Cobra Commander needs maybe a few pistols and guns, but that's it - no tactical vests, blades, etc. The others will likely not be so pricey.

yeah $119, they are on crack. I've been cutting back on my Sideshow figures for awhile now as they have continued to raise their prices without offering more for the price. At this rate they are going to price themselves right out of business.

Sideshow used to be a really cool company with really cool affordable figures. $119!! C'mon. That figure is easily a $80 figure tops.

Bad bad bad move

To this point I have only gotten SW and LOTR 1:6 figs from SS, do they normally drop a preorder during a newsletter?
Id be steaming if I missed out on this.

Doubt that highly. Hot Toys and Medi have been at the price point for a few years now and are doing great. Sideshow may price you out, but they will be fine, trust me.
