Thinking about cancelling this and putting the money I paid toward the Hot Toys Ghost Rider. Will Sideshow let me do this?

Has anyone tried making the mask sit lower on his face?
I feel like his nose is too exposed and it's making everything look off to me.

Don't think it can sit any lower since the mouth/exposed face is changeable.

i was thinking the same exact thing! Although i already did cancel my DD order with AlterEgo. I'm leaning on putting those funds towards the HT Ghost Rider. I'm hoping for a more iconic costume change for season 3 (one with the DD logo on the chest area, and more red color throughout), and of course hoping that HT will do a figure representing that change. DD is an A-list Marvel character which I feel should deserve a second rendition if a new costume debuts.

Interesting a lot of people have their tracking numbers already.... Just checked my order page and nothing there still says order processing and spoke with a customer service rep and they said it would be another 1-3 days for it to ship but my order was with the shipping department....

Maybe raising the mouthplate would be easier.

Mine arrived today. The likeness is great.

I'd really like to display him in a pose with his elbows fully bent so I can either have the staff resting on his shoulder, or the nunchucks hanging off his neck (as another poster showed earrlier in the thread), but I'm afraid of what will happen to the suit if I were to actually leave it that way.

I feel ya, but at the same time I'd be pretty annoyed if I bought the figure at full retail price and then see it months later going for a significant discount.

Both TWS Nick Fury and AOU Quicksilver retailed for about $220 when first released, and I ended up getting both for $163 and $147 respectively years later. So that's why I'm thinking of holding out on Daredevil for a better price...

I guess the question is: are you willing to wait years for this figure? I find myself asking that question with every release, given that there are usually newer versions coming down the road. Although, I don't believe that to be the case here. I don't think Hot Toys will ever revisit the Netflix Marvel characters.

Just got DD and he is great. Got him by GR. SS sent him to the UK via DHL which is a first and I hope they use them again as it’s cheaper and qui.

When you say cheaper, is that the shipping charge from Sideshow?

And no admin charges from DHL?

SS usually charge me $40 with Fed ex ( USA to UK delivery ) but DHL I was charged $30. It’s still far too much and they make a huge profit from this. A courier like DHL charge around $15 - $18 for up to 10KG to a company shipping items with a reasonable volume. I would assume SS are paying around this price if not less for an item to ship so although DHL was cheaper, it’s still an unfair mark up. I have asked if could arrange my own collection from them but they have refused. I can get a DHL express from USA to the UK on a 2 day delivery, up to 10k in weight for £9.99. I could save a fortune with SS if they agreed to my request.

Cheaper than the usual $35.79 or occasional $40.

Don't know why.
