Sideshow emailed me 2 weeks ago with a charging date of oct 4. But with my diecast MK46, doctor strange and SS Batman, they would charge me, then ship out nearly a week later.

Right....but its not just DS
 
Is anyone else under the impression that there isn't too much demand for this figure?

I really want it, but I also think for some reason that not too many people do, and therefore I should wait to see if I can purchase it for a lower price on the secondary market.

What do y'all think...yay or nay...? :dunno
 
It's all on you. I thought the same thing for BvS superman and now can't find one without paying $100 over retail. So, maybe DD will end up a shelf warmer and SS will drop price OR he may turn out to be a "grail" type figure & you'll never get your hands on him again.. we can't know. That's why I just buy what I like now & sell later, if I end up not wanting or just upgrading to a newer version. Gonna get rid of my v1 starlord because I have v2 coming.

There isn't. It hasn't sold well, from when I talked to customer service. "Orders have been less than what we had anticipated" is what I was told. That's why, even though the figure isn't perfect, I wasn't passing on it. This will probably be the only one we ever get, unless he shows up in an Avengers movie and steals the show like Ant-Man did in Civil War.

Fascinating. Hearing this makes me feel good, but at the same time I really don't wanna miss out on securing this bad boy, but I also don't wanna pay full price for this...
 
I recommend getting the figure if you want the figure, forgetting about if it is popular or if it sells well or not. I do agree that the chances are this may be the only version we will get for a LONG time, maybe ever of this actor and version. I also wouldn't mess around hoping the figure drops big time in price, the retailers can be patient, I wouldn't expect much difference even if it stays in stock a while. And if does drop in price for some special event or sale, don't blink, you can miss it and they are gone. I have had that happen to me before. I am a fan of the show and the character and the fact that this is the MCU version, so I am glad I have it ordered and can't wait for him to ship.

I feel ya, but at the same time I'd be pretty annoyed if I bought the figure at full retail price and then see it months later going for a significant discount.

Both TWS Nick Fury and AOU Quicksilver retailed for about $220 when first released, and I ended up getting both for $163 and $147 respectively years later. So that's why I'm thinking of holding out on Daredevil for a better price... :lecture

Yup. I've been saying. Week one: email sent. Week two: payment charged. Week three: bad ass awesome figure shipped. Week four: The Arrival. Pretty close to this timeline with my last 3 guys.. At least he is in the way and the anticipation is alit of the fun.

Had to put DD on a payment plan because four figures were shipping in the same seven day period... SS Batman, Ghost Rider, Wonder Woman, and DD.

I was charged yesterday and FedEx collected him, but no email confirmation from Sideshow.

Jyn Erso Deluxe was collected at the same time, but was charged the day before.
