I just did a quick search for Venom in bst and saw 2 for 1450 shipped and 1 for 1500 shipped.
LOL! There's 3 right now for $1400-$1450 shipped
these are all sold items minus the $1500 one. I know because I'm one that bought one of the 1450 ones.

With the exception of a handful of XM pieces, Magneto, Black Widow for example, the others always come back down to more reasonable prices once the hype dies down.

With all the other nice Venoms out there this one will come down in price from the hype inflation, BUT it is still an amazing piece in terms of its size and presence. That is going to make it a little more expensive to get for sure

That's what I'm hoping for. I'm still going to hold out and see if he'll (XM) become cheaper later this year. I want to see 1100-1200$ prices! Wishful thinking huh lol

I don't want the market to fall that low. I want to think I got a good deal - at least a decent one. 
i was going to try and hold out for $1200 too, but I didn't want to risk waiting and possibly missing out. That would be quite the drop in price considering how much people like it. I think once the Prime starts shipping, it will be at it's lowest point, but we don't know what that will be yet.

"A little late to the game, but finally got around to taking pictures of this masterpiece. Friggin' large and in charge!! Venom is heavy and huge. The sculpt is off the charts and the paint apps are perfect. I really love the shiny black ooze effect on the symbiotic veins. I love all three heads, but the tongue is my favorite. Not a fan of the mini-symbiotes, so you won't be seeing them in my pics. This Venom blows his SS counterpart out of the water, IMO. I have him set up with the SS Spidey comiquette and they look great together. Thank you to XM!", Mike Misterski.

Your deal is actually still relevant. I do eventually think it will go up again once it becomes rarer. It's still a very new sculpt and the beauty is the edition sizes from XM are always small.

It looks awesome for sure, and I do agree it is the best Venom out there
after finally getting to see this for the first time in hand, I know I'm in the minority, but I think the Brock head is the coolest of the 3 and gives the statue a very unique look. The Mcfarlane head is really good, but I think SS did it a little better and the tongue head looks just as bad in person as it looks in the pics to me.
The proportions on it are weird and squished. It only looks good from the side. This and the Prime definitely seem more like 1/3 statues.....huge! As much as I like it, I think the Prime is gonna beat this version of Venom. The SS one is still a very enticing option too.

Hmmm interesting take on the proportions being squished....now I'm gonna have to look at mine again...lol
if you put all 3 side by side, it's even more obvious to me. They should've widened that head. I'd still like the other 2 heads more, so I guess it doesn't matter lol

yeah as long as you like one head and are ok with displaying it then I'm good with it....I've never swapped out display options on any of my statues.
