Franchises that would make cool global event movies?

It would be neat if Netflix would release multiple Robocop or Highlander movies set in different countries and cultures in the same year. I could see those franchises easily translating across cultures.

Movies. You have a brand and you translate into multiple cultures making each movie distinct and similar at the same time in the same year. 3 Robocop movies released in the same year. 1 set in Brazil coming from the BOPE tradition, one set in Russia, created for the military ending up working fro an oligarch post 1991..., etc.....
