Why is he slouched that much? Is the top of that seat too low? If the seat is a Deluxe version exclusive, I will gladly pass on that version.

Maybe I am just nit-picking here because I know we can't really see much of the headsculpt! But he kinda looks a bit fat in the face, more like Revenge of the Sith than Return of the Jedi. Also the skin doesn't look grey scale enough.

I am hoping they pull this one off as I sold my DD Exclusive Version for this and that was a pretty decent figure with the two sculpts.

But I instantly see this looking at the few pics.

As for coloration, I'm pretty sure a fleshy tone is "canon" for Palpatine now and not the very pale white look from ROTJ, few products use anything but these days.

If it's the Ep 3 version it's an instant non-PO for me. I hated that bloated ****.

It's ROTJ with the throne, unless as far as heads and such, HT goes for a middle ground between 3 and 6, but knowing HT, I'm sure they'd save 3 for a full 3 figure with unique ROTS costume.

What the hell is with Hot Toys and their hands this year ? Do Palpatine and Tarkin both suffer from hand elephantitis ??

(Ok is probably the angle and glass but other shots also show quite large hands)

Nice throne though. Good to see that's confirmed.

Has anyone seen if he comes with the throne as the standard edition ??

Don't judge hands in that pic, it has horrible proportion distortion from the camera, this is much better.

Wish they'd say something about the Imperial Guards. Single or 2 Pack. This looks epic !!

Then again I might just get 1 guard like in this pic above and have Vader on the other side as his right hand man !

I think he is sitting up straight, but the robes aren't futzed to hug up against the body so it makes him look laying down.
