Maybe a topic change is needed to distract from the delay?

Any unique ideas for display? Detlof? Custom case?

Any figures likely to get bumped for this?

Figues foregone in paying for HB?

Shipping estimate for SSC? Overseas folks?

Unique posing ideas? With the hulk? With the 42 popping out? Anyone planning a dio?

Just topics to help maybe pass the time.
Bought this display for Hulkbuster months ago. Something big enough for Igor (and Iron Patriot & War Machine Mark 3 eventually) and Hulkbuster. Replaced the hot lamp bulbs with LEDs and made a decal for the bottom couldn't be happier. No dusting for me.

Where'd you buy that from? Looks fantastic!

Google "Hexagonal Display Case".

I got lucky and found a jewelry store going out of business and had this for sale for $200, although I belive I got it for $175 cash. Knowing they are worth $500, I grabbed it quick. She had a double wide one, which I regret not getting.

I highly recommend them, you could do 3 tiers of 1/6 scale figures easily. I would definitely swap out the stock lights though, they got very hot (I tested them on for an hour with no figures first).

Here is the wider version, which I wish I bought:

I hope there would be third party acrylic displays made for this beast!

I'll pose him with Ultron since both can't fit into Detolf

I'm trying to get a custom stand like this for hulkbuster to put LEDs in, but can't find anybody who can 3D print it. I've already designed it in CAD.

I just think he just needs something since I don't see him shipping with a stand since (unlike the top heavy Igor) he won't need it. I just want a little more of a display.

You are awesome, sir. I'll definitely keep this in mind if HulkBuster doesn't fit in my curio cabinet. Thanks again!

Seems like this would be more appropriate to fabricate using stacks of laser cut pieces. I own a 3D printer and would not be stoked on printing a 30" wide base.

I had it broke into quarters for printing, but you're right. That would be a great way to do it. I really wanted a machine shop to do an aluminum version, but I know the price and I'm not willing to pay that much for a stand.

In 1/4 sections you'd have to use a PVC printer, which would not come out very nice for these large flat discs. An SLR print would work best for these shapes, but you'd have to break it into like 24 pieces and pay the price of HB to print it. Really good concept though, you've got the ol' brain juices moving over here. :woo

Yeah, I ruled SLR out a while back for that reason. I'll figure something out, maybe just do it in wood and paint it, we'll see. I have plenty of time to figure it out.

Anyone in UK worked out the likely import tax for this beast? Don't want to get stung so will have to save, has to be close to £200 doesn't it?

As you can place the hot toys 1/6 mark 43 figure into the Hulkbuster figure, does anyone know if hot toys will include the mark 43 bust?

I plan on putting the Hulkbuster in here....next to the Titanfall which is of similar size.

I have the Funko pop holding his place.

The bottom shelf is like 25 inches high. It depends on the final height of the Buster. The Hulk will be above him (that shelf is like 20 inches high). Should fit no problem.

Here's where mine is going. Hoping the weight isn't too much or I might have to replace the glass shelf with something a bit thicker. Hmmmmmmm

Looks good, plenty of light. I probably wouldn't trust the glass, I'm putting mine on a bottom shelf for that reason. I don't know the weight, but I imagine it'll weigh quite a bit.

Just gotta get this damn stand made first.
