I don't blame them, but I hate having to contact them for updates. The least they could do is update the product listing with a notice that it's been delayed and why.

The last answer I got was "late April".
VP said their distributer is the one delaying them, and they can't get a straight answer why. But it's getting to the point when I feel they'll never come in. If it never turns up, I'll have to hope one of my waitlist orders from Sideshow comes through.

It's a great figure and found it fairly straight forward to put together. I had a bowl of hot water out after 5 mins of trying to pop the arms and legs on to no avail. Getting the knee and shin pads on while keeping the netting under was a bit of a beehotch too... but all good in the end!

I think I'll only end up getting P1 and Scar (for a sensible price) eventually but I saw AvP:R just the other day and although the film itself wasnt that good... I thought the Pred was pretty kick ass... so maybe. The other Preds out there are cool but theres no way i can collect all of this line with all the others I'm picking up too. Besides imo Chopper aint all that getting whacked by an alien at least Celtic had a good ruck with one of the nasty beasties. Ancient and Elder didnt get enough screen time and i dont see the fuss over the P2 Elder... but thats possibly due to the fact I dont own him.

All in all I'm v. happy with my first Pred and my first HT fig for that matter. Just a few questions to me fellow freaks:

No spring/hoses with this pred? He pops a few off when he removes his mask in the movie no?

How does the medipac stay on his back?

Is there a way to sling his spear over his back? (could just use a bit of string i s'pose)

One of his dreads came off when i was sticking the head on but its not too noticable. I cant seem to pop it back in... should I glue it?

How do i get his laser sights to work... only kidding

The last update I received was that there was some delay due to chinese new year, and shipment went by boat. But the Chinese new year was a long time ago, so not sure why still the delay. Ah well.

amoktime still lets you add him to the cart and go through the checkout process. if i place an order will they send me an email saying its sold out and then give me a refund?

i dont have money for it anyway so nevermind
