Every time I think about selling this figure. I always look back at these pics. I hope to add rooted hair once I finish my commissions.

I actually had my figure in almost the same pose, but after a few days, the wrist would start drooping from the weight of the shield (and it was a plastic one). Did you do anything special to keep the wrist/shield up?

I've also come pretty close to selling this figure a few times, but then I find a new pose, and it manages to find a way to stay in the collection. I originally bought this so I could recreate the highway fight scene with Cap, but it's become a cool figure on its own since then.

Must be the unideal lighting conditions as the repaint looks warmer than the CW version.

Not sure what you mean by "warmer" the repaint has more of a chrome look while the CW version is more of a bright reflective silver.

If you don't have TWS Winter Solider, you don't have the Winter Soldier.

:D

Can see why some folks would feel that way - for me it would be like having CW Cap but not Stealth Cap - just....no. Luv all my Buckys. IMO CW Bucky is far easier to work with than TWS Bucky. But agree that CW Bucky was pretty stripped down, as figs go. So was BP. Plus there seemed to be an excessive wait to get BP, Bucky, and Falcon in hand *frown*. And IMO head sculpts still need some tweaks.

Hoping (not much) for better from HT re IW (assuming Bucky will get made in some form.) IF Bucky takes the shield what's described in the comics sounds pretty cool to me, re his costume and even the arm. Meanwhile, PO'd Dr. Strange - an IW Dr. Strange would be nice, but afraid that HT would skimp on the accessories (again) so getting the fully loaded DS while I can.

That's different though. CW Cap and Stealth Cap are both Steve just with different outfits and from different movies but the character is the same. TWS Bucky IS the Winter Soldier, brainwashed and ready to blow anyone's head off or ram a knife into Steve's shoulder ... or shoot him ... or repeatedly smash his face in with the metal arm. CW Bucky is Bucky with some Winter Soldier bits left (basically just the scene where he's triggered) other than that, he's mainly running and trying not to kill anyone. He even moves completely different than the Winter Soldier. Honestly, even in triggered WS mode, Bucky only felt half as scary and dangerous in CW to me. :lol So, if I want the Winter Soldier on my shelf, being all deadly and awesome, I buy TWS version and if I want Bucky, I get the CW version. Of course I want both coz I love Buck and TWS so ... :rotfl

:exactly:

I have TWS figure to represent The Winter Soldier, an MCU villain, and I have CW Bucky/TWS to represent Bucky. His role in TWS was way more lethal and intimidating in TWS, like you said. Full assassin model, absolutely no emotion nor remorse whatsoever for his actions.

Nicely said IMO:). And I can see that. I mean, I admired CW/Seb's/Russos' take on Bucky in Civil War; e.g. lethal if pushed, but mostly wanting to get away; confused, sadly fatalistic "it always ends in a fight". IMO exactly where the character should have been mentally (at that point in the story):clap. Where there was a quality of pure focused deadliness about TWS (and an awesomely badass outfit) there's probably something wrong with me that I so enjoy Sitwell getting tossed out the window:monkey3 - but when you think about it, THAT Bucky is the kind of guy who'd toss someone into traffic.

So, well - yeah:). Guess the next candidates for "pure focused deadliness" will be Hela and Thanos & co. on the shelf. Unless Bucky gets really, really PO'd in Infinity Wars e.g. with his Hydra training don't think he'd mess about confronted with, say, a bunch of nasty aliens invading earth.

Absolutely agree with you here except for the villain part but let's not go there again :lol
CW Bucky will never look intimidating to me ... ^^ dunno, pose him with the rifle and he'll look like a guy with a gun who'd take a shot at you if you make a wrong move but pose TWS Bucky with the gun and he'll look like he's gonna empty the entire magazine to kill you and then grab one of the other guns at his side to repeat that should you still somehow breathe .... XD or just throw a knife ...

I'll never stop getting goosebumps when Fury is being chased and you think he finally got away and the camera shows us the front shield of the car and then there's that blury dark figure and once it focuses and you see it's WS ... *__* I still get the "oh ****" reaction even though I've watched the movie about 10 times by now. :lol

I totally agree. I also still get that "Oh ****" feeling whenever I watch that scene hahahaha
And let's not forget that unforgetable scene where Bucky grabs Jasper Sitwell out of the car & throws him out to his death :clap

I like the scene where he was shrouded in darkness in Alexander Pierce's kitchen. Even though he was the one giving him orders, it almost seemed as if even Pierce was slightly afraid of him in that scene. TWS was dead silent and it seemed as if Pierce was unsure as to what he (TWS) was going to do.

I love so many scenes in this movie, it's amazing. I could go on and on about how awesome it is for hours and still feel like I haven't said enough. ^^ The scenes that keep playing in my head whenever someone mentions the movie are the final of the Fury chase and that scene from the highway fight where WS drops from that bridge and smashes the roof of that car in with the impact. *__* The way he lands and straightens up just to murderstrut towards the camera is just so good. Seriously, it's scenes like that that make you really really happy not to be in that scene ... XD I wouldn’t wanna run from that guy. Nor would I wanna be there when he's got a knife out ... I mean DAMN! Those knife flips and the kali knife fighting still make me stare in awe ... XD I kinda wanna repose my WS with a knife now ....

At first I saw it like that too. But the more often I rewatched the movie the more disturbing that scene got. Not coz of WS though but coz of Pierce. He's not afraid, surprised at first, yes, but not afraid. He shows his superiority, offers him milk and of course WS is not gonna take him up on the offer coz he's just a thing and not allowed to have that or even say that, yes, he'd like to have some milk. And then Pierce just pours himself the tiniest bit of milk as if saying "hey, you want some milk? I don't but I'm gonna pour myself a bit anyway just coz I can and you can't."
It's like a slave owner sitting there eating a delicious meal while his starving slaves watch him and him asking them if they want some just coz he's enjoying that they know they won't get any no matter what they say. Ugh ... XD

Wow!! Thanks for all the responses. It's great. I really appreciate you all giving me your opinions on the figures. And here I was worried that I may not get any feedback!! hahahaha I love the passion of fellow collectors. Also, thanks for posting pics. They're awesome.
Well, after taking all of that info in, I'm gonna go for the Winter Soldier version.......... the hunt begins :chase
