It just looks like another of Three Zero's stunt double range. A vague sense of who it is supposed to be, but really, in this day and age, not good enough (at least in my opinion, anyway).

Honestly, the only released sculpt of theirs that I've liked is Tyrion, everything else in their live-action licensed lines has been a miss to varying extents as far as I was concerned. That said, Merle and Michonne in their Walking Dead line, Ghost in the Shell, and The Hound in their Game of Thrones line all show promise, so hopefully they are improving. At the very least they are capable of better.

Yet another company that's still massively inconsistent, even on their best days, so it's hard not to be filled with dread when they snatch a license you wanted to see get made.

I think a Scully Mulder 2 pack would make a lot more sense. Who wants just Mulder? The sculpt is only so-so. Figure needs to have a trench coat as well.

This is looking pretty good. What issues have threezero had in the past with figures?

That looks like a decent unlicensed version.
For an official figure its pretty average.

Really worried we aren't getting Scully now. Surprised they weren't announced together. Trenchcoat seemed like an obvious exclusive given ThreeZero's record. I'm just hoping Scully and others will follow.

I've been re-watching some of the X-Files recently and that doesn't look too bad at all. Reminds me more of Mulder around seasons 6 and 7, but I think that's because they've gone in heavy with the skin textures.

Pretty much.

And given that the likeness is really the only selling point on these figures, given that everything else can be very easily kitbashed, they haven't exactly covered themselves in glory here. Okay is a pretty low bar, so hopefully they'll at least be (very) reasonably priced.

Tough crowd in here. I think it looks really good, a solid 8/10 effort and at the price three Zero are putting these out at there won't be any complaints from me. Definite purchase.

Just saw this, I'm pumped, this blows away Sideshow and the only other figure options besides Sideshow are 5" McFarlane figures or the one episode Diamond Select figures.

The ex is the coat? If so thats pretty cool.

The x files was not on any company's priority list. So (as is so often the case) it's this flawed but improved version, your old ssc figure from 2009, or nothing. This isnt like ironman or a bus where you can just wait for the next one.

Also, same as with TWD, 3Z found a nice spot in the market with price and quality. If this was $230 i'd pass. $170 in modern times for this quality doesnt strike me as wild.

Still looks nothing like David Duchovny.
Coat bein' an EX item... is an insult. It's one of the essentials for this character, FFS!
