I still don't understand how the 1:10 scale space jockey would cost $694 in shipping to Ireland. How was I able to have a Hot Toys 1989 Batmobile shipped from Sideshow for, I can't remember what exactly - but it was nowhere near 700 dollars.

Not really. Just about the only thing I'd think would really be necessary would be a new helmet. The rest could be taken care of with paint apps.

Sorry a-dev, but we're definitely getting some exclusive stuff that isn't just kenner from the club.
People like me, Staps and others are practically feeling forced into the Alien X Club. and It's not for the bubblegum aliens
it's on the case that it's not actually a "Kenner Club" and that we will get some mutual exclusives.The key word is mutual - the end of year figure will have to be on mutual grounds, else a lot of people will absolutely flip. I know this, you know this, Neca definitely knows this. I highly doubt it will be kenner - even neca wouldn't pull this one.
I don't expect the exclusive to be that great even coming from the movies - I reckon there's at least an 80% chance that it will be the Molten Dog Alien they have been trying to find a way to release for the last year or so.
We also get access to the SDCC exclusive which if anything like last years could be a pretty big deal...
To sum up - the club is there to try and boost the Kenner sales - how? - by making people who don't buy the Kenner figures... well, buy the kenner figures - How? - By creating an "Alien" Club which will include stuff people who don't by the kenner figures would want... the catch - They have to buy every Kenner figure they don't want -

Didn't neca post something saying tru would be getting the AD exclusive too? I could've swore they did. I'm sure shipping will be $10 from neca for 1 figure if it's anything like their eBay store.

Guess I'll be paying out the ass for exclusives on ebay if they're movie-based items.

Only doesn't suck for Kenner fans that want everything. Like Staps, I'll be selling all the kenner stuff, whilst trying not to lose any money.
I'm guessing us club members are only allowed to buy a maximum of 2 of the exclusive / SDCC stuff, but if that's not the case I'm sure us freaks can help eachother out.

Disappointed in the Vaz reveal. She is good but for some reason I guess once again I hyped myself up too much for it and hoped they'd do Atax or a Bishop figure from the Kenner line.

If it's the creature from the trailer... there is a mistake: look the shoulders...
It looks like there will be all kinds of different xenos in Covenant, so I'm guessing that figure isn't based on the creature in the trailer.

Oh man, is that it? Seriously? What a let down. It looks like a slightly tweaked big chap; in fact, that's what I thought it was at first glance. I can see that there is actually plenty of new sculpt there, but that head looks so generic, and the "shoulder fenders" are all wrong.
Maybe it would look better in a more dynamic pose? Sigh.

That looks like McFarlane's first Alien from the Movie Maniacs 5 boxed set. Preorder cancelled. NECA are really churning out ****e this year. If they **** up Blade Runner they're on my donezo list.
