My biggest gripe with han is that the brown leather jacket looks way too shiny and new. It should look sort of beaten up and weathered as it did in the movie.

Thanks for putting up the video, nice look at the figure! Have seen several shots of production Han now and they all look great. Tough sculpt to nail and they seem to have done it. Hope Luke turns out as well, can't wait to display the two old guys together.

Yeah, old Han and Luke will be a pretty cool display.

That and the "Warning: HT pleather likely to peel in a few years" tag on the inside of the jacket. It just has the look of pleather that won't last.

Looks like james the cat... tamed the cat.

He still looks a bit weird, but that's some nice futzing and the slightly more open mouth helps. It's unfortunate that HT did such an unbelievably great job at capturing a furred Chewy on both versions in an overall sense (great lankiness, body proportions and articluation, fur very realistic and well attached)... yet something went awry with the face that prevents it from being a bullseye.

I was really hoping this TFA Chewy face was going to be a big jump forward over the ANH face but to me it's just as off only in different ways - at least so far. At least you can see his face on this one. But can't wait to see this TFA Chewy fully futzed and retouched. People worked wonders with the ANH one.

Han looks utterly amazing, but I do think the face looks slightly a bit too wide.

Hey gents, here's a peak at it if anyone is still on the fence. I personally love it. Hit the 4k option in quality if youtube gives it to you. Nothing fancy, once again just showing folks how it looks out of the box.

I agree, I'd love to see a General Organa figure!!!

Also that sucks about the jacket peeling after a few years?

I was kidding about the tag - but a number of HT pleather items have peeled over the years.

I'm still gonna keep my order. I would prefer the hair be a lot lighter BUT it's not a deal breaker. I think Ford's TFA look is iconic and HT still nailed the likeness.

I'm located in holland so don't get your hopes up. I work as an actor in the Amsterdam dungeon atm and have some projects on the horizon.. So you never know.

I was kidding about the tag - but a number of HT pleather items have peeled over the years.

HT should find a way to solve this pleather issue. A +$200 collectible figure should last more than 2 years.

I sold my Nick Fury because of the pleather jacket issue. Same with my Wolverine Origins.

There are so many cool characters that use leather based clothes. Imagine if HT decides to make figures from the Matrix movie....

Yeah I think that's a big reason why the likeness seems to look the best from an angle instead of straight on, because the face doesn't look quite so wide.

Agreed. It looks like he just bought it off the rack. I might have to try a bit of drybrushing on mine or rubbing it with chalk pastel or something to give it more of a weathered look.

Curious if you have weathered pleather before as I never have? I would really like to make that jacket look better. Chalk seems like a safe and reversable way to start.

Also curious if anyone has a safe solution to protect the pleather from crumbling as well? TaliBane? I have seen folks complain that their dx indy jackets are crumbling. Mine is fine right now but I would like to know if something preventative can be done? Thanks for any help

Lots of additional coloring on Matrix's Chewbacca makes it look like a completely different figure. The figure I wanted.

Instead I have a choice between 'brown' and 'yellow'.
