This seemingly came out of nowhere. It looks like the MM28 model from a handful of years ago. If it is, it's great to know that X-Plus has rekindled the relationship there. Their first few pieces, Gorosaurus, Anguirus 68, and Godzilla 68 were all MM28 pieces.

Wasn't their recent Battra also a MM28 piece as well?

Lanard's Kong figure is a really great toy, especially for the money. Where it falls short IMO, is the light grayish tan that he's molded in.

Here's my repaint, brown black, with gray and brown highlights:

So as not to offend the delicate sensibilities of any members, here's some OFFICIAL GODZILLA CONTENT:

Wow. Is that just with acrylics?

Primed with Krylon FUSION flat black, then everything else is Folk art acrylics. Finished with Testors clear lustreless, and gloss on eyes and mouth with Tamiya gloss clear.

Holy ****!

I mean seriously holy ****, look at that tail!

Hands down the best ric exclusive ever!

Do you have an led out on the tail? :lol

Imagine if you could change colors and make it flash like those houses during Christmas. :lol

When I was a little boy, my grandmother bought me the Multiple Toys Animated Kong playset. Whenever I went to her house, I would play with it for hours, humming "KING KONG, 10 times as big as a man!" This set brings back those memories BIG TIME, and I guess that's why I wish there were more toys like these.

I just hope in three years we get a Godzilla that fits in with these figures.

Very cool. My only issue with the Kong line right now is the massive size mismatch, I want a skullcrawler Kong can fight, even the spider is huge, the flying creature is the only one to scale.

Hopefully we'll get an in-scale Skullcrawler if the movie (and toy line) is successful. Keeping my fingers crossed that all of this, and the "monsterverse" comes to pass.

Just looking at the RIC website. Looks like I was right about the GMK Ghidorah being MM28. They cite that down in the description. Sure hope they want to do more of Niwa's stuff. Wish I would have gotten his 84 Godzilla.

Also appears that the upcoming Kiazer Ghidorah is the Gow Row offering from a couple of years ago. Good to see more offerings that aren't in-house sculpts.

I'd go crazy if X-Plus ever released this.

I had a chance to get it back in the day when it came out but no funds.
