Yeah, but with option #2, they should still ship you those first and then ask you to destroy one and provide proof. Is that not what they said?

Edit: Re-read your post. I would confirm with them. I would be surprised if they want only 2 pieces sent back and sent back first, no less.

Exact quote for both options:

The first would be a partial replacement, namely of the body and base (to ensure a perfect fit between the two parts). To proceed this way, we would first need you to send a photo of your edition number (located on the underside of the base). We would then send you a pre-paid label for the return of your current body and base, and upon receiving them back into our warehouse, would send you the inspected replacements.

The second replacement option would be a full exchange of the entire statue. The process for this would be very similar - we would first need a photo of your edition number, and we would then set up a Return Merchandise Authorization for the return of the statue, and send out the inspected replacement upon receiving the original back into our warehouse.

In the past Ive always received replacements first.. so I emailed back, just waiting on their response.

Then, I would do option #3 hands down. F that.

I mean, you might as well just do the full replacement.

Good luck, man. Hope it works out for you. I know how much it sucks to have to go through this process. But don't let the agony prevent you from getting a replacement. At most, for one statue, I had to do a replacement twice.

It's ruined it for me multiple times.

And it sucks. :lol

I'll probably sound crazy for saying this, but I went with getting a $60 credit.

The white rub on the elbow I was able to get off. The spec of red paint on the bicep, I was able to get off. So the only issue was the sloppy paint around the gold lines on her back... And it's really not as bad as it looks in the photos I put up, I enhanced the photo before sending to SS so it would look as worse as possible.

When I was taking her out of her display today to snap pics of the base for a replacement, I took one final look and the lines aren't too terrible, yes there's a few spots that could be better but it's really not that noticeable in person.. the photos made things worse then they appeared. So $60 credit seemed good enough.. I was originally concerned with the paint rub on her elbow and the spec of red on her arm but those both came off with lots of buffing.. so I'll take that $60 for the pain and suffering :)

If it's just the paint lines, that's a good deal on your end. You'll never get a perfect piece. The spots would bother me. The lines wouldn't. Nice work and congrats on it all working out! :rock

Yup, as long as your happy, then you made the right decision. Congrats, Cyber.
