While it's not a bad figure, I really don't think it was worth the original price. NECA releasing donatello right now definitely distracts from Mondo turtles

Dont get why they didnt just add a strap on the elbows to hide the joints better.

Also, paint looks a bit sloppy. I like that little turtle accessory.

I agree, this is a great looking figure but it probably should of been sold at a $95 - $100 retail price point.

I think it looks great. Can't wait. I hope the chest isn't to Brown though. And for all the talk about leather straps, I think the molded ones look good.

looks great! Imagine all 4 of these together and the NECA ones on top of the detolfs! What a display! Turtles fans finally getting the toys we deserve

This should have been a $100 price figure max! I'm seeing some obvious molding lines on some pieces which I don't expect on a $150 figure.
Being TMNT, I'm sure the sales will be good but really wish the price point will be lowered for the longevity of the toy line.

Yep. That's a seam. Definitely not worth $174 (after shipping) to me. I'm really thinking of selling mine all off.
No offense bud, but you seem to be disappointed in these although they don't look any different than the protos

Is the impact of the neca versions causing some buyer remorse

Ifor you look at the pictures of the prototypes on SSC website there is no seam in the face. It kind of looks like they just did a **** job for a $150 figure. I don't blame him for being dissapointed. I kind of am too, once I recieve my Leo on tuesday I will be able to decide if I am keeping the rest or if I'm just gonna cancel them and get the dreamex (even though I like the original turtles better). $600 is a lot of money for some hard plastic figures that have seams running down the middle of their face and kind of ****** paint jobs.

Understood but shawpaw has been talking about it before the seam came up

Hope you are able to get it as well Aliaz!

And I agree on the joints too. Hopefully by Raphael they fix some of these issues by then (e.g. seams).
