Yup. While I do see the argument for this DP vs P1 1/3 I just keep in mind that they are all mainly (if not all) museum poses which are ok but I prefer action poses (personally). 1 or 2 museum poses are cool but I don't want a whole boat load of them especially in 1/3.

AND as you pointed their 1/4 Superman (which I agree is very bland) is the same price. This is their first 1/4 statue so this right here shows the price range they're going for with not only the new 52 line but I'm also sure the Marvel comic line as well.

I do understand though, 700$ is a lot of money to be spending that's for certain. Pick and choose carefully what you like/want.

At the end of the day, it won't matter the price cause collectors will complain about the price at first, but end up ordering it anyway after the shock has worn off.

Currently, I'm only getting statues where I absolutely like the character and the statute has to be awesome ... then I don't mind paying. This statue is close, but it's more shock (the price) and awe (all the stuff going on) ... then something stunningly awesome to look at. Haha. I know it fits the character, but it might be too much slapstick action going on for my taste. Statue prices are making me more selective. I also think there's going to be stuff breaking left and right on this statue (and then more breakage on the left and some on the right again) ... but I guess only time will tell.

I'm gonna wait until my HT deadpool ships and I get through RP. I'll have about $85 then and I might do it. I'm obsessed with Deadpool so if I get him, then he'll be my only purchase in 2018 because let's be honest, he probably won't ship until July 2018.

I've never seen any company, or any product(s), go up in price so fast, period. SS price increases are so off the charts it's unbelievable. They're slowly pricing themselves out of business. It's not going to happen overnight, but at this rate, how many customers are they pushing elsewhere?

Not defending price at all but I've seen the XM Deadpool and there's no way anyone can convince me they should get a pass on a $900 + statue and SS's is out to lunch

I'd take Sideshows over anything XM has to offer now
