I never see this one coming...$700?!?!? Woww...do not get me wrong the statue looks terrific but I rather add $150 to get me a 1/3 scale Prime 1 statue. I think I am out for this one...do not know I will still have to consider it more seriously.

you make a good point, add an extra 150-250 and you are now at a Prime 1 statue...1/3 instead of 1/4, the same if not more switchouts...in some cases 3 heads

i flexed it out for 80$ a month starting in May. If it isn't absolutely perfect upon arrival I will just return it for a full refund.

I'm not thrilled with the cost and might restrict my spending a bit for those months , but if quality control is incredible I think this is probably a piece best not passed on.

But I have loved Wilson since the 90s , so I am a bit biased for one reason or another ^_^

Yeah this crossed my mind as well, I do want the other Wilson as well.

But the Prime 1 1/4 superman is 750$ For a pretty (IMO) bland statue, so considering how epic this is I couldn't really risk missing out even with the SS price jump.

SS is most likely going to keep raising prices , so in a year from now 700$ might be cheap lol

$700.... WOW! I've never spent that much on a statue before. But I said poopy it. I love this Deadpool. That whole selfie stick thing is fricken hilarious!

Used $100 in reward points... So it came out to $600. But of course I'm Canadian so there's going to be absurdly high shipping and duty charges...and then there's are ****** exchange rate. This thing will come out to like $1000 Canadian for me all said and done

$700 is ****ing insane for a premium format figure. This is more than the Hulk vs Wolverine dio, and it's the same price as the Iron Giant maquette. I like it but there's no ****ing way I'm paying $700 for it.

Yup. While I do see the argument for this DP vs P1 1/3 I just keep in mind that they are all mainly (if not all) museum poses which are ok but I prefer action poses (personally). 1 or 2 museum poses are cool but I don't want a whole boat load of them especially in 1/3.

AND as you pointed their 1/4 Superman (which I agree is very bland) is the same price. This is their first 1/4 statue so this right here shows the price range they're going for with not only the new 52 line but I'm also sure the Marvel comic line as well.

I do understand though, 700$ is a lot of money to be spending that's for certain. Pick and choose carefully what you like/want.

i honestly don't understand why everybody is surprised?! This is a Mousehouse license, and the movie was huuuuuge.... We're at the stage where you have to be selective of what you wish to purchase. You can't have everything <Well some people in the world can>

I love this statue but it's way too much. SS must've looked here at what price we all would predict it would be and they went as high as they could go determining the price.

Yeah, I'm totally not the guy who brings up XM in Sideshow threads, but at this point, I'm going to be looking at being totally done with new Sideshow orders, and just going after a few XM pieces a year.
