Yeah - but I'm calmer again now (for a number of reasons)

. . . the email from Sideshow came at the wrong time (cleaning up after a very sick family member).

I told them it was an insult, the balls now back in their court.

Mine arrived earlier than expected. And he is pretty perfect. Cant find a thing wrong with the paint apps, they are however midiocre in a couple of areas. 1) The viens on side of his mouth looked just drawn on the surface with a green marker. 2) There is one little spec on his crown that looks like skin paint got dripped on, just a spec though, cant really pick it up unless you look hard.

As far as the quills go, they do look crappy where theyre supposed to have an inserted look at the roots and you can clearly see the paint line from the back and side of the bust, only from the back though.

The teeth. Got a couple if crooked bottom ones, but i think it just gives him character. [emoji12]


The rest of it is perfectly fine. I think I got a real nice one guys[emoji106]

It does have a a lot, a lot of presnece. I do love it. Got the wifes migraine tabs next to it. Lol.

Its sitting on my table now in front my 150 gal fish tank. I havent built a spot for him yet. Plan too though. Got to see where i want him tonight...

Congrats - the teeth on yours look the same as mine, I never thought they were supposed to be perfectly straight....

Yeah someone pissed in ***** Face's mouth for sure. Might look to remedy that later with some clear when i have time. I am slightly artistic with my remodeling skills. Maybe i can handle it.

Similar for me, got offered $80 credit. Though they didn't say replacements aren't available just that "hey there's this option do you want it!?! disclaimer: taking it means you can't return or replace it." I've asked to continue with the replacement option and we can see what they say.... Hopefully a good replacement is in my future

some paint chips on the top

well they actually just look like bubbles under the paint which got popped by the top styro pressing down on them :<

Yeah, I noticed when packing the box away, the styro foam top that pressed down on the head had black quill and crown paint stuck to it. Just a little rubbage I guess. They should have used some of that soft foam to wrap the top of the head too so this wouldn't happen. Luckily it didn't take too much off, as I cant tell that it came off.

They should use that fabric wrap Prime 1 are using now. My Noel Bats came with all parts wrapped in the stuff to prevent rubbing . Seems to work a treat.

Those are very good too, although I would suspect the material The Chaver is referring to would be cheaper. Oh well, anything should work instead of just laying the packing styrofoam right on top of the piece.

Mine had a piece of that thin polyfoam (like Sideshow uses) both top and bottom (between bust & polystyrene) for protection.

Didn't stop a tiny paint scuff on the top of the highest crest though.
