Babysitter will be the next variant IMO. And the next one I pass on... I'd really prefer if they just announced the exclusive at the same time that way I could just get it and be done... no interest in rebuying a figure, reselling the original version or having essentially 2 of the same figure.

Now that I would agree with! They should list the variant as the Exclusive version at the same time, just like other 12" figures, and that way if people want it, they can get it or just skip it and get the regular.

Thats what I dont understand with the Dead line, why release the exclusives months after the regular edition. It make no sense.

The Babysitter at least has hair that they can paint a different color in addition to the different colored outfit. The 805 variant is the lamest so far.

Well to be fair, the Doctor Exclusive was released before the regular one wasn't it??? And was a normal pre-order too?

The Corp Spokesman and now 805 were both released as "in-stock" orders after the first version had shipped.

So, there really isn't a pattern just yet...

They probably do that so the regular sells. If they did both at the same time, they would have stacks of regular zombies left, since near everyone will go for the EX with the low ES. But by releasing the EX on a further date sometimes throws the buyer off in thinking this is a whole new exclusive figure, falls for the hype... thus he ends up buying the same zombie.

Theres no real reason to buy two of the same Subject, when the only difference is change of color clothing.

My guess is that its hoped you will buy 2 figures. Basically I buy the regular and I'm happy, but then I see afterwards if I want the Exclusive version I need to buy a 2nd one. Some people will bite just to have that extra figure, and really doesn't hurt SS as most people with either keep the original or sell it to someone else rather than return the figure... and at this point it might already be past the deadline for returns.

Pretty smart on their end... makes releasing them a lot less dangerous financially. But a bit annoying as a collector.

Thanks Josh. here's a few more. I'm going to put a dark background inside the store so the broken glass shows up better.

As of today I'm officially part of the zombie clan! I got my first two zombies of many to come. One is recognizable to all, the other is a custom Dust figure decked out in a few dragon parts. The figure needs to be reworked badly! Some input of where to start would be great. This will be my first custom rework so if anyone has a link to a guide on blood paints, parts, etc. that would be great for this "noob":banana
