Hot Toys: Ellen Ripley - Alien (Updated with new prototype HS)

I have wanted to say: it's Secret Base too, but mine is on video.

And... I'm not sure that it's the lighting...

The link I send should be a 4.30 mins Budget Stark video review. You just have to wait for it to start playing or press play.

Great job on that Kane head. And a good idea to use the old Ripley head as Lambert, looks convincing.

"Lost in translation" :lol

I wanted to say: Your video is made with pictures (no motion). My video is the same place, and the same figure, but is video, no pictures. You can see the "real" figure in motion.

I hope you can understand me. I'm from Spain and my english is not very good as you can see... :slap

Hehe, no problem!! Had I spend a bit more time on it I would probably have figured it out ;-)

no, your photo made me cry. it's just cruel and irresponsible to boast such customs in a world where the only company with 1/6 alien license makes only ironmeh.

Yes and I am truly sorry about my irresponsible behavior and attitude. To show you I have improved, I will hold back on showing you my other Alien(s) display ;-)

Re: Hot Toys: Ellen Ripley - Alien (Updated with new prototype HS)

so...Sideshow/Hot Toys announce the PO for Daredevil and...

no ****ing PO for Ripley. What the actual **** is going on?

Re: Hot Toys: Ellen Ripley - Alien (Updated with new prototype HS)

Not sure if serious. She's been up for PO for months.

I was just about to say the same thing. She's expected to ship between November and January (though don't hold your breath on either of those).

Well I guess it's understandable if he didn't recognise her when she was in the forum banner all that time. :monkey3

i guess they don't change on old green forum skin.

Re: Hot Toys: Ellen Ripley - Alien (Updated with new prototype HS)

bad paint, inhuman face - it's definitely some crappy sideshow statue product, so your mocking doesn't work :)

Re: Hot Toys: Ellen Ripley - Alien (Updated with new prototype HS)

well not everybody is cross-eyed or a cyclope to enjoy that ultranarrow design.

Re: Hot Toys: Ellen Ripley - Alien (Updated with new prototype HS)

You guys are missing out on all the latest Marvel Hot Toys that the rest of us are treated to in the updating banners

Re: Hot Toys: Ellen Ripley - Alien (Updated with new prototype HS)

The green forum skin is far easier on the eyes, I change it over as a matter of priority. :lol

On a side note - I don't know who said it previously, but the earlier HT Ripley sculpt was compared to a young Adrienne Barbeau.. & they're so right. I just bought a copy of the original 'SWAMP THING' film in which she co stars. It's like they actually drew on her for inspiration for that earlier head.. dang. :lol

Never owned a Hot Toys figure before. Are those stands necessary to stand the figure like the 1/4 scale Neca figures?image.jpeg

You don't necessarily have to use the stands. Vey few of my figures are displayed with them. You do have to be careful if you don't use them. Some figures are balanced better than others. Some have tighter joints than others.
