Not sure why people keep claiming that pce cell looks better because he really doesn't.

this is entirely 100% subjective, though. You can't fault people for what they prefer

The issue is that, instead of taking the color scheme from well known, logical source (like the anime) Tamashii instead went for, iirc, a single promo pic of him in this weird pink and off green color instead that no one has ever seen or wanted him colored as. Honestly, people can say "its fine" but lets be brutally honest here, thats just folks saying it to make themselves feel better because they finally get a shot at owning Cell.

For the record, no, PCE Cell isnt better than the original release, not by a long shot. At least the original is close to the manga colors for him.

Personally, I'm not saying "it's fine" just because I'm getting it. I really like the PC colors more than the original version...even if the original is accurate to the manga. I could care less about manga accuracy. I mean, my Piccolo is manga accurate and it sucks, imo. The original Cell just doesn't pop on the shelve, IMO. The new one...hopefully will be bright and colorful in hand.

Do I prefer the tv show colors? Sure...if they are bright, but I really like the PC, and I think some people like it as well when comparing it to the OG Cell figure.

I would like to see the promo picture they used as reference though. Never seen it.

Oh for ****'s sake. People need to stop questioning or determining other people's opinions. If you don't think it looks better, that's fine. Stop telling other people their opinion is wrong or that they're simply trying to "convince themselves." We should be better than that.

I seem to recall no one hating on me for mentioning the exact same thing about ssj3 Goku, why is it so different this time? Its the very same issue.

You're determining the opinions of others by saying they're only convincing themselves on thinking something is better. Why even state something like that? You're generalizing collectors and that's absolute ********. I have an original Perfect Cell yet I prefer the Premium Color Edition paint application.

I didnt mind ssj3 Gokus color scheme, didnt mean I didnt know it was horrible compared to what we should have gotten.

I agree with you, I don't think it looks good either, I like the original better. But if people love it and wanna say it proudly then that's totally fine too

Some people here also prefer the coloring of the SS Vegeta & Trunks reissues to the originals. Personally I think they're fugly, but it still doesn't bother me either way

The Scouter Vegeta exclusive has fugly colors, which I feel is a unique curiosity worthy of any display, however Big Deano absolutely hates it & refuses to own it even if it was given to him for free, but we're still cool

It's an easy choice to make for people who missed out on the OG and want Cell without having to pay the late tax. I prefer having a reasonably priced PC Cell over an over priced OG Cell. And if they ever make a 2.0 with anime colors, then I'll buy that one as a replacement.

Theres no way of knowing to be honest, tamashiis releases recently have been sporadic at best. There was a leak a while back that mentioned new versions of Vegeta, Trunks, Cell and ssj3 Goku, but no mention of Gohan, Cell ended up just being a PCE and a new ssj3 Goku hasnt surfaced yet, so its a toss up really.

Honestly after this PCE is released I don't think they'll ever revisit Perfect Cell again, I see this release as a "final send off" so to speak. His other forms, perhaps, but Perfect Cell is done & done

Unless, of course, he miraculously comes back in Super (god i hope not)

It's within the realm of possibility, but who knows how likely it is to happen. I learned a long time ago, not to wait to buy things that I really want. I want the PC Cell, so I'm not going to skip it and wait for something that may never happen.
