Guess it varies. I've seen him a fair bit and caught him each time.

So. You caught him once then? :duff

:lol

Nice.

Right now I have 11 Pikachu

Ran across a Lickitung tonight. Pretty stoked about the rare find.

I'm really surprised that some people are having a hard time finding Pikachu. I ran across 5 last weekend in the span of a couple hours. Haven't seen one since though. Still, with leveling the way it is, I don't think il ever get that Raichu.

So jealous of the people that live near water and can catch all the water pokemon. Living in North Dakota, I'm 1000 miles from the nearest ocean and am probably out of luck on evolving magikarp.

Even if you're near a park with a pond, you can find them. I don't live near oceans/lakes, but we have them everyone here. But I get what you're saying. It took my buddy 3 days to catch enough for a Gyarados....he's also a Level 25 though. :lol

I'm a level 23 (just a few catches shy of 24). Pokemon 4 lyfe!!!! :lol

Haha level 23? I'm impressed. I'm still stuck at a puny level 17. I'm determined to get all 150 though. So far I have 76.
The big 3 (Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle) and their evolutions still elude me, as do a lot of the rarer pokemon. And of course the water ones.

It's still random. I found a Seaking in the DMV office :lol the nearest body of river, a tiny stream, was like a mile off.

You don't need to be beside an ocean to collect magikarp. I got my 400+ candies from a local canal. Admittedly, it took a few days to gather enough candies to evolve to Gyarados :duff

I'm at the beach this week, and though magikarp and psyducks appear at the lakes near my work, I'm seeing all kinds of wacky pokemon I haven't seen there. But my parents live across the street from a creek, and all i get here are standard lameo ratatas, pidgeys, etc., with your odd random character like a poliwhirl we got a few days ago. So the algorithm built into the game's code must account for the type of water somehow, maybe along with other factors. On another note, I got a Golem at a condo a couple days back, with a CP of 60 [emoji38]

I live near water but I'm too lazy to go out and catch em, sometimes there are more than 4 in a row to catch but all that walking though (ノД`)
