Love the concept art… Definitely makes me think about my Hot Toys Guardians.

- NOT replacing original Groot with Mini Groot -- He should always be the tallest one on the team!
- DEFINITELY need a Nebula figure this time around
- DITTO for needing a Yondu figure
- Drax looks the same as the V1 one coming out this year, so good there
- Hopefully will get a new Chris Pratt head sculpt to put on V1 Starlord -- like the original costume better
- No need for a new Rocket, love the original
- Don't like Gamora's new look… happy to stick with V1

All in all, looks like GOTG V2 will not be as expensive for me as I thought, lol.

I think Gamora will have a costume change in the movie, that concept art outfit is different than what Saldana was wearing on her social media pics.

I also got a better look at Rocket's new outfit, it's mostly a dark color like the Ravager outfit from Vol 1 but has some brighter colored parts to break it up, notably around the shoulders and kneepads. Not really an improvement IMO, think I'll just stick with the Vol 1 figure.

Although her Ravager costume at the end of the film was pretty blah, like this new one.
The shimmery blue and black costume was definitely her best look.

Star Lord's chest armor looks ridiculous, I don't like it at all. Everything else looks great, though. I like the new looks for Gamora and Nebula.

it was just an awkward design.

hated the collar's shape and weird splotchy silver details.

hated her clunky boots.

hated the neon tigerstripe/zigzag detailing on the legs and torso.

it just looks weirdly dated. prob was the point.

i wouldn't mind them bringing back the colors of the original suit to this new one though.

The chest armor is just part of the jet pack attached to his back. You can see that Rocket has it too.

Yes Yondu, Nebula and Mantis are a Insta buy for me. Also holding out hope that they will do a Ronan (but chances are slim).
I too don't think I'll buy any of the new original team figures from this movie... But knowing what a Guardians tragic I am, my inner self is laughing at that comment...

I really dig the vest & coat combo on Gamora. She looks like a space pirate (and it's nice for MCU to finally branch away from putting its female characters in catsuits).

I'm kind of sad about having bought the first version of her now, especially considering they won't have to give the new figure seamless arms because of the jacket. Alas, I don't buy multiples of one character :-(
