Sweet, Thanks. But can you close the battery compartments with the soap reactor in?

No, not like you can with battery's anyway. It depends on the figure and how that compartment is designed. But you can't really except an external power source to be internally wired.

Go look at pics of Craig's dio. He has the figures all wired with a soap reactor.

Thanks, I will check that out.

I have one on my Mark 3 and HoA at home, both on the same reactor/remote. Works great and very easy to hide the wires (except the mask on the mark 3 splits on the forehead so you can see that one).
All compartments are closed but not screwed tight so as not to crimp the wires like Motux mentioned. I am considering a second.

It's worth getting if you use the lights very much. I have one, and it's really a must have if you own a bunch of the iron man type figures. But I don't use it on all or even most of the figures. As I don't use the lights all the time batteries work for the most part. And if you have the figure in detolf type case where it's alone or whatnot the wires get much harder to hide. If you have a display like Craig made or a HOA then the Soap is really a must have.

This is what I am thinking for my display. It's just a rough idea.

Can someone please just start a Soap reactor thread if there isn't one already? It's super annoying seeing Motu have to explain it to people every ten pages on every Iron Man thread. :lecture

Lol it's ok. The thread would get buried anyway. Can't ask about something you don't know about.

Yes, if I can only find a display case that can be closed, then I would be in great shape.

Yeah it's hard to find good display cases. It may be not carried anymore as its been some time since I went to Ikea and looked, but Ikea did have a longer display case that may work. But honestly, your best option is gonna probably be a custom case. If ou don't have the time or skill I am pretty sure you can get one made that wouldn't cost a crazy amount. If you check craigslist you will probably find construction workers or handy men looking for work. A couple hundred bucks and I'm sure you'll find one.

I believe it's called a granas. Or somthing like that. Here's a few pics of one.

I found this one at Ikea that I like,

Sucks its almost $400.00

Oh yeah billys. Actually it's couple put together. You can buy just one section (60 bucks) and then the doors you want (another 60ish). They are very nice.

Edit-damn prices. They went up a but. So it's 70 ish for the case without doors so a little more. But what you can do is buy them in sections. One month get the one section. Then next get the doors later. Then the other section. Then it's doors. If you want.

I have a set of billy book cases my self. And a set of older discontinued doors I really love.

And here's their other cases. Really Ikea is the cheapest ready made cases you will find. If you have one you can make it to ID really try to go and check it out. It's impressive. Also order their catalog. It is well worth it.

I think the one I found is big enough, and I can also change the levels of the shelves as well. I figured that I can fit about 7-9 figures per shelf. I would just need to pick up a bunch of generic crotch grabber stands.

Billys are great and relatively inexpensive. They are still $60 or so at the IKEA by me but I think the Oxberg door was $70 if I remember right. I actually need a fourth one to tighten them all together but ended up with leaving with a Besta set up for another area of the basement instead so I need to head back soon. Here's a crappy old pic of my Billys but you get the idea.

That case is called Klingsbo. I got one used last year. It can barely fit Hot Toys and Enterbay 1/4 scale figures. It's more suitable for 1/6 scale figures.

Ok thank you. The names for some of these things. Lol I get them confused all the time. And I don't doubt they don't handle 1/4 very well. Few options on that front really. But it is a nice case. Ikea used to do another detolf type case but it was horizontal instead of vertical. But that was years and years ago. I doubt they still do it.

That's a nice display. Well done.

Yeah they work great, in large part due to their modular design and relative low price.
