It'll be shown at either SDCC or final product pics, whichever comes first, and then people will love it again. One bad picture/pose and people spew venom all over HT.

That second pic is indeed better. I don't know we need to see something more to know for sure

Looks like a Santa Clause outfit :slap

Well you know what happens to people on Santa's naughty list...

The figure looks fine, it's the same trend for every figure. Announcement, then price speculation, then critique on a prototype that's not finalized. People going crazy how good it looks at secret base. Then long period of nothing, then updated figure pics surface, people freak out from the changes, then the blogger pics come out and everyone is happy again and order straight from HK or people complain why can't SSC gets their batch sooner.

It may pass off as acceptable but it dosen't change the fact that the first prototype they showed was perfection, its like settling for just a good figure. This had the potential to be Hot toys best figure (still hopefully is) yet, so any changes made besides adding more goodies would be unnecessary and a detriment to the figure itself. :dunno

As an aside from all the discussion about the changes made to the figure, I'll admit that this being the only movie-inspired Deadpool figure it kinda makes me wish that HT or some third-party company would make Ajax as well since I thought he was adapted well in the movie and he's practically the closest that Deadpool has to a proper arch-nemesis in the comics regarding his origins.

And hopefully the third party will make it look good and well rested. Like he's been pitching not catching!

This is the suit we've been debating about for a couple days now. The color still needs to match the boots and belt. However, thanks to higher res pics we can at least tell the pattern of the material matches better than the last suit.

Actually it's not the same. One was taken at secret base two months ago and the other at Shanghai Disney last week.

I hope we see the actual production version soon. I imagine that they also see some of the flaws that we do and will have them corrected by the time it gets released.

So it being the one from secret base or a duplicate is impossible somehow? lol Whateves.
Yeah, I don't see any reason why it's not the same figure... I don't think that HT makes a new prototype every time they go to a new convention or something. Where are you getting all your info on this figure?

I think they changed the texture of the suit to this spandex version as opposed to the leather for better articulation, even though they sacrified a better aesthetic. I can understand that, but whats the logic begind the turtle neck? :cuckoo:

I hope the suit doesn't hinder articulation too much, looks super tight on the fig. I hope they use ratchet joints so we can get some great poses. This is top of my most anticipated figs list.

I think the newer suit looks more accurate to the actual suit. The deep texture on the older one wasn't all that accurate (if I'm rembering correctly)

Yeah, with the newest shots, the head and neck both look overly long.
