Sorry, TK0083. Not as good, but I'm stealing your pose.

Not the best lighting, but first time in a long time I managed to break out a camera that isn't my phone. Love her!

Mine should be here tomorrow or the day after. Boba Fett should arrive the same day!

this is Hot Toys best sculpt in ages, maybe ever. Luckilly i still had scottyb's great dress from a few years back, which i personally prefer to the HT dress. I switched it out, and love this figure!

Will a crotch-grabber base work with this figure?

:goodpost: I agree...she doesn't have the blank stare we always see in the Black Widow HS.

In hand: the head is close to perfection! The figure is worth each and every dime. I wish I could grap some spare heads for customizing ...

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS298 - Star Wars: Episode IV - Leia Organa Collectible Figure

I didn't use the waist grabber part. The post itself seems tall enough to prevent her from falling without having to stick a crotch grabber under there.

That Scotty B outfit is off the charts. Congratulations on owning one!!:clap

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS298 - Star Wars: Episode IV - Leia Organa Collectible Figure

I just read Bloodline this week and it will make anyone who reads it a Leia superfan. It's that good. So glad I have this figure, she is an awesome character.

You've got that backdrop looking pretty awesome in your display, TF! :clap I have a custom backdrop for Leia coming later this week or next week. Pretty excited about it, I'll post pics when it arrives.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS298 - Star Wars: Episode IV - Leia Organa Collectible Figure

Leia arrived today and I noticed that the hair on the back of her head near the bottom is faded. Is this normal or should I contact SS about this?

Also, the figure name plate keeps falling off on both Leia & Luke. The grey plastic bit is loose. Has someone figured out a fix for this? Thanks!

Sorry about the low quality pictures.

If you look closely you'll notice the Leia name plate is not connected to the base. Its too loose.

My Leia figure arrived today. Overall, I'm pleased, however, I'm not keen on the boots (reminds me of CyGirl boots) and it seems the belt isn't removable. I was hoping to use the Sideshow Leia belt but looks like I won't be able do that now.

My Leia arrived today but I haven't taken her out of the box yet to check the back of her head. I wouldn't worry too much about the name pate, just glue it back in place with a couple tiny drops of epoxy glue; a don't use super glue on these figures cause it's hard to reverse it's effects. I personally don't use name plates for my SW figures cause I don't need to be reminded of who they are...I know who Princess Leia is. In order to fit Chewbacca in my display without bending him over I disassembled the base by removing the six screws on the bottom and only use the grate & crotch grabber without the name plate; I do this for all my SW figures.

I'm not sure if you're a new collector or only new to the boards; keep in mind these figures aren't perfect and often have flaws...even at these prices.

Yep, the hair is normal. Its supposed to fade like that to represent how natural hair is pulled up. If it were all painted in..well it would look heavy handed and un-naturalistic.

Mine is light in that area too. Maybe yours is a bit lighter but seems normal.

Thanks for the advice. I was considering gluing it but didn't want it to be permanent, but like you recommended I'll try epoxy glue. I know these figures are not always perfect but I just wanted to get the opinion of some of the other collectors as I am new to the forums.
