Wonder when Sideshow will ship my Hot Toys Vader?..........

Considering it takes them weeks to respond to inquiries now, I assume they'll ship these out sometime in 2053 or so

Yea really what is going on? It's like they are fixing the voice feature or something, lol.

Sideshow made me send my Vader back because they would/could not replace the belt. I had to return and cancel my order, re-order and wait. I have been waiting for over a month. No word on my replacement order.

They can take their time if that's the case!

What I do not understand is why they replaced belts for some, but not others.....limited stock? I am totally guessing

The more I compare this to the SS version it makes me wonder why SS can get things right. Sure the HT one isn't perfect, but damn come on SS you can do a lot better

Looks Good! Since you're going all out, you might want to try and cut the eye section out of a human sculpt and insert it in the mask, behind the lenses. It would probably still reflect the light back and subtly show the eyes in certain light...that is, if you'd want that type of effect. If it doesn't reflect the light back enough you could paint the skin around the eyes white. Just an idea.

I like that they added the instructions to this figure on the SSC order page. I wonder if they are doing that for all their HT figures.

Matrix, how did you "crack open" the head exactly?

I'm thinking of doing the same, but I wasn't going to it if was too difficult.

I just remember getting the dome off was a huge hassle.

I was thinking of doing that using the SS reveal sculpt but the eye lens aren't transparent enough to get the desired effect.
