Looking great. Only nitpick I have: the guy mentions the blade is metal, but it seems very dull to me, weird.

Curious to know, why is that odd to you?

Because metal should be, well, metallic. If you use real metal for a blade, it doesn't make sense to cover it in grey paint, you're taking away the exact reason why you used metal (which is: to give a metallic finish). I'm not doubting it is metal for real, just that the final finish is weird.
That kind of worries me since I just got their Machiko PF and one of the nitpicks I had on that one too is that the wrist blades are dull, completely flat grey (with some weathering on it but nothing that actually make them look like blades). I attached a pic. Btw I see the blade comes out so I can ship it to my guy and have it fixed if needed, I'd love to add those blue-ish reflections that it had in the promo pics.

Exciting and I do love the price on this one. Hmmm. Thank you for sharing. She looks great.

it might not be an impossible touch up along the hairline although matching that color may be tricky. I wish the paint under her chin or the makeup was a little darker. To me when I originally saw her it almost looked like she was bleeding black ink out of her mouth. But again that would just be a very minor critique, it's not a huge deal. Looks nice....I might get this.

Good point, Mule. Perhaps they were going for the rustic look due to the nature of the "dead" aesthetics.

Very possible, not that it's a major point, overall the statue looks spot on to me and this is still an easy fix. It takes just a few bucks to ship the blade to someone, have it fixed and ship it back. I might have the package sent directly to the painter to save on one of the shipping costs so no harm here.

Looks metallic to me. a dark metal but still metal. I think it looks really good. not as good as the cool blue the blade had on the proto but nothing that bothers me.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the blue-ish tones were only on the promo pics due to particular lighting and photo editing, I don't recall those shades on the various Comic Cons where this was displayed. Overall if my piece comes like the one in the pics I'll be 100% satisfied.

I'm very disappointed ! All those pictures posted, and not one Butt shot!!!:gah:

Seriously, she looks great. I'm really conflicted on how to display her, masked or unmasked. I'll have to have her in hand to make my final decision.

Looking great as expected! Surprised they used crappy wire on the mask jaws though instead of a clasp to stop them flailing about in battle as all her other armour, clothing and weaponry is so ornate?

I think she looks great, can't wait to get her and check her out in hand, but I think they fumbled her hairline on the unmasked sculpt:

I plan on displaying w/o the mask so this would be worthy of a return/exchange. Sure the self touch up would be easy, matching the color... impossible.

I have the QotD already and have Gallevarbe and Kier ordered. I was going to stop there but may go for Shard if the price is around $380 to $400. If she costs more than that, I won't bother with her.

Kier was a must have from the beginning for most of us here and I'm glad to see that she came out so nice! I had no idea that she had severed wings shone they never showed us that in the original prototype pictures.

I'd been thinking about that color since I posted it. I agree. I doubt sideshow could or would ever list the exact color used...but that might help although if it was airbrushed on...the application would then be a soft blend which is even more complex to match.
