I would love it if Storm made an Ali figure, or a Mr. Olympia Schwarzenegger.

They would and they could if only Ali wasn't so expensive. I've always tell them to but what ppl want and actually translating to sells is a different matter. For now they are working on other 1:6 and 1:12 projects. So lots to look forward to.
I've got almost all of the Neca Rocky figures except for Clubber Lang, I hope he gets released again, the aftermarket price for it is crazy.
I don't follow the aftermarket. How much do they go up for and which one is the rarest or most expensive to get? Just intrigued.

I've been hoping to buy one from places like ebay, but he's a minimum around $70, and maximum around $120.
I'm not sure about the other figures from the line, it seemed to me that Clubber Lang sold out the quickest, but they all seem to be around that price range on ebay now. Wow that's crazy.
Only thing I remember was with each series it was very hard to get hold of.
Even for series one, the bloodied creed was what everyone wanted.
Doesn't help that these figures were even harder to get in HK. There's just not many who knows or watched rocky over here. Or into the line.

That event exclusive is a great looking figure, and i doubt it came down to how poor that one did. Not sure what the price was during that event, but judging by the going prices which is 50$ and up, i understand why it did poorly when they allready made a 20$ Rambo 2 only different expression and i believe the bow was added in the exclusive.
I have no doubts a Rambo 3 and 4 would do well for 20$. Easy purchase.

If I remembered correctly they sold for a price higher than a regular retailed Neca. Same with the apes. Cost me a lot to get those and then forward through a shipping company to HK.
Sucks how both the apes and Rambo line has fallen.

Yeah, Neca killed the line by making 3 Rambo 2 figures in a row with the only difference being the paint and a new sculpt for the SDCC ex.
The regular Rambo 2 sold well...I never saw it in stores.

And the video game presentation being one of them which i have a feeling isn't their hottest seller. I dig Neca's approach to video games though. The paint apps is great and the box art is just like the orginal game covers. Get a retro video game feeling by looking at them.
Searched for their video game figures just now and i had no idea they did Contra. Gotta get those for sure.

I wouldn't read much into that graphic, that's just an iconic image you can easily recognize as Rocky without detail, it's almost a logo for the series. I honestly don't see NECA doing a street clothes or running suit Rocky, they're focusing on him from the fights as those looks are what would cater most to the larger market, only super fans would spend $20 on Rocky in a jogging suit from a training montage.

Still, like you said, it's the "iconic" image of the character. I do think we'll see a street clothes Rocky this year, because someone asked NECA on twitter, and they didn't say no. Now, it could be a Rocky wearing his jogging suit or it might be the leather outfit ...or the tiger Jacket version from Rocky 2. I like all those outfits.
Best chance at a non-boxing outfit is training gear, I'd be beyond shocked to see NECA just do a Rocky 1 or 2 street outfit.
