Yeah, I always use paypal credit for stuff like this. They give me 6 months to pay off large purchases with no interest so I have never had to pay interest on a single one of my purchases. I prefer not to pay upfront for preorders, especially ones that could take over a year to fulfill, but there was no way I could pass this figure up. The moment that I saw pics with the detachable armor this became my most anticipated figure.

Well I wish it was a statue tbh, and 1/4th. but nobody is lining up to make them and GH haven't said a peep if they are interested in doing them so these are my only recourse :(

Can you elaborate a bit on your experiences with PayPal credit? My searching turned up some really rough reviews of the service. I've been interested in it for exactly the same reason you use it, but didn't want to take the "inquiry hit" on my credit score to try myself in the event it's shoddy. As far as I'm aware, it's basically like applying for a credit card in those regards.

I can only speak from my experience, which has always been great. I have used it for years with no issues and it has been a huge help with random big expenses like this one. However, I signed up for it years ago (when it was called "bill me later") so I am not sure if the signup process has changed since then. I remember it was a bit tricky to signup for, and it did result in an inquiry hit, but once everything was situated it quickly turned into my preferred form of credit for any purchase over 100 dollars. I almost always use it when I have to pay for a preorder upfront. The only time it doesn't worked for me is when I use certain overseas sites like AmiAmi.

With that being said, people seem to have very different experiences with Paypal. I do most of my online shopping and selling through them and I have never experienced any of the horror stories that I have read about online. So your mileage may vary and I definitely don't want to talk someone into signing up for an extra line of credit that causes some sort of financial trouble down the line.

It took me about a minute to sign up and I got accepted instantly.

Figure looks great. I don't often order non hot toys 1/6 but this was an instant buy for me. Busy order day. This, skeletor, and armored Bats.
Now the t60 will be looked forward to.

They should just release the other Power Armor variants on their own. No figure inside. Just the pieces.
That way you don't have to shell out £280 for a new armor variant every time.

I was originally going to order this through Sideshow, to avoid shelling out the whole price right now and for the sake of familiarity, but...my explosive legendary minigun is one of my favorite weapons, so I really want the minigun with my figure. :lol ThreeZero it is!

For those of you that must have the exclusive, you can either pay them via Credit Card funded PayPal, or PayPal credit. You'll pay interest on both methods, but PayPal credit is closer to Sideshow's FlexPay system, but you can choose when to make payments, and how much.

I paid for my Jon Snow EX with PayPal Credit, and it was pretty easy. I paid it all off before they started charging me interest, but it was an otherwise painless process.

PayPal Credit is most likely how I will order mine. That way I won't have to pay it off until shortly before the figure begins shipping. I love the "no interest for six months" policy!

The T-60 is my favorite of the power armor suits. I hope they release it with a Brotherhood of Steel paint job!

Do you think Threezero will do the X01 armor? I hope they make all of them!

I sure hope they make all of them! Except the raider power armor because that variant is just stupid. :lol

When I tried to use Paypal credit it said it was unavailable on their site.

Was really wanting this guy, but I'd rather just wait and get the T-60 notes that I know I can do flexpay on sideshow

How available/expensive do you guys think the minigun will be in the aftermarket? I might order the figure from Sideshow and pick up a loose minigun from somewhere else.

Either that, or I'll bite the bullet and just order from ThreeZero with my credit card.

Would be cool to be able to take him out of the frame and have a fully figure in there.

Seems highly unlikely anyone would part out the minigun, unless it's for a high price. The EX is $400 shipped from threezero, the reg seems to be about ~$350 + shipping at retail. . . so I wouldn't expect to see the minigun priced lower than $50 to $75. But I really doubt anyone would part it out anyways.

Frankly, it seems dumb to buy it from Sideshow at $380, plus shipping, as you'd already be spending $400 right there, without getting the EX. SSC only offers highly inflated shipping rates, so you'd be paying much more than anyone else. If the only reason is that you don't have the funds to pay for it. . . then you shouldn't be buying toys anyway. ;)

Yeah I figured the minigun would be rare and expensive in the aftermarket.

The only reason I was considering Sideshow for this figure is because they're the company from which I've ordered everything else. I'm comfortable and familiar with them. It's not that I can't afford figures...I've bought 35 of them in the last 10 months, and I've got 10 or 12 more coming before the end of the summer. :lol I could very easily afford this right now. Rather, it's that I don't like the idea of paying the full price up front with ThreeZero for a figure that's 6-8 months away, when I'm so used to paying only 10% of the price up front with Sideshow. Regardless, I want the minigun, so ThreeZero seems to be the only logical choice.
