Vision wasn't delayed. Sideshow adjusted their window on when they will get it. Hot toys stated release for him was q1 2016. So anytime till the end of March and he's still on schedule.

The figure wasn't delayed. Sideshows anticipated arrival after it releases was delayed. Big differences.

The announced release window from hot toys still has 72 days in it. Two and a half months.

Someone has to do this when they get HB. :rock

Can't wait to get my hands on this giant.. Hopefully it will be on time since ht very experience in ironman.

I've been an eager beaver and spent days looking up possible release dates. Budget Stark has updated Hulkbuster release date to be Q3 2016. This is based on what HK sellers are telling local collectors. On the other hand, an ebay seller claims Hulkbuster is currently in production and WILL ship out by end of January 2016.

"Please note that this is a Pre-order Item and it is currently in the manufacturing phrase and will start to ship out from the production line once completed about end of January onwards. Once available, we will ship out your order immediate!..."

Let's see which is which!

I figure you probably aren't, but I wouldn't put any faith in that seller's predictions of the release date. It won't be completed by the end of this month.

They have to say it will ship within a certain window Becuase otherwise it's a violation of eBay policy. Any PO that is not in stock and ready to ship in 30 days, and be received no later then 45 days from auction close is against eBay policy. They write that crap to avoid getting the listing removed. Which it should be. Because technically your not covered by buyer protection either if it's not shipped in that time. And with Paypal going back to its own company I would bet going forward they stop paying out to people who don't follow the rules.

seems highly unlikely that hulkbuster will
be released this month in HK, let alone shipping
out abroad. next month is the chinese new year,
most probably hulkbuster will be released after
that at the earliest!

This is a big release. The sooner the better

First post in the thread of the first Hot Toys figure of 2016 for me, I think it's a good one to start with :lol

I almost forget how flawed eBay policies are and how merchants so easily avoid them. Thanks for cluing me in... it's nice to know since i haven't used eBay for years.

Has anyone noticed Hulkbuster's articulation in his right shoulder? (left of the photo). It appears as though it can extend approximately 5-to-10mm judging from the photo comparisons. Although there's a possibility Hot Toys may have made modifications to suit the diorama, what if they have not? As we may already know the Jackhammer arm is heavily modified (pinned) to fit his (left) shoulder socket...so we can dismiss comparison of the left-shoulder articulation.

What are your thoughts? Can it extend? or does it merely have basic articulation?

P.S. This is my first Hot Toys purchase, so I'd very much appreciate feedback from Hot Toys collectors regarding articulation and pose-ability in HT mecha/armored figures.

Based on AGCHK 2015 (top) vs San Diego Comic-C on (bottom) photos comparison

Almost all of the iron man figures have joints that extended like you are talking about, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Hb has it as well. Check Out the thread that has the review of the striker figure to see how they do it if you have not.

Yeah it's mostly about people trying to by pass the system. I would never PO anything on eBay. Not if I wasn't 100% sure(or close) it would release in 30 days. And if it didn't I would be filing a complaint. Even with people I've done tons of business with. There's just to many cases of legit business going belly up more or less over night.

But I'm a bit jaded. I had a couple horror show deals with eBay and PayPal and learned the hard way. One as a buyer and one as a seller. So I've seen both sides get screwed over. Anyway, I'd be wary of PO on eBay. Especially with something this expensive.

I'm excited ... took a family trip to IKEA today and picked up a Besta to fit Hulkbuster in. I feel so relieved now that I know for sure how I'm going to display this behemoth. Four payments down, four to go!

Heh it's great to see people anticipating for the pre-orders to arrive! Looks like i may pass on a detolf altogether since i don't have the space. He will have to be raw and exposed in the living room as he stands tall holding my cellphone.

Anyhow, being the eager beaver that i AM, I've done research on Hot Toys competitor King Arts. They just recently announced their Hulkbuster motorized-Jackhammer accessory will be sold as part of a "Box Set". It will be bundled with Hulk (statue), and miniature Veronica (1/24 scale?). I believe the HK article mentioned a price tag of $250-300 USD - I may be wrong.

My guess is...Hot Toys will either sell Veronica and the Jackhammer (non-motorized) as a bundle for similar pricing OR they may never sell a deluxe bundle-set. Afterall, looks likes they're swamped with weekly releases. Let's see which is which!

I appreciate your advice~ I placed an order through my local hobby store instead. They're a Sideshow Collectible Partner... requiring a $250 deposit... 0_0...not quite the norm. After paying the deposit the clerk tells me to expect it to release anywhere from April-Aug...since there will be a high chance for delays. Double face-palm on me... lol
